The Essence of Accomplishment: A Method for Accomplishing Damdza Rakta. The Essence of Accomplishment: A Method for Accomplishing Damdza Rakta. This is the Essence of Accomplishment: A Method for Accomplishing Damdza Rakta. Om Swasti! Unattached Great Bliss, Limitless Light. Having respectfully bowed to the glorious Lama, I will write the essence of the method for accomplishing Rakta, the unattached Vajra Samaya substance. This has five parts: Essence, Definition, Classification, Source, and the Order of Accomplishment. First: It is included in either existence or peace, and if not understood, it is the basis of attachment; if understood, it is determined as the substance for accomplishing detachment, and it abides in the category of being thoroughly distinguished. As it is said in the Rakta Mar Gyü (Red Tantra of Rakta): "The essence of Rakta is attachment." Second, the definition: It is derived from the sound 'Rakta' and refers to the color red. Moreover, all phenomena and existence are divided into white and red, and the red part is determined to be the nature of wisdom and emptiness, therefore it is Rakta. As it is said in the Rakta Mar Gyü (Red Tantra of Rakta): "All are Rakta, therefore it is Rakta." Third, the classification: Classified according to the category of expression, there are five: Rakta of the basis of existence, Rakta of the cause of samsara, Rakta of the unchanging lineage, Rakta of the great fruit, and Rakta of the number of substances to be accomplished. The first is all that belongs to the element of water and the category of water. As it says in the same text: "The Rakta of the basis is the element of water." The second, the Rakta of the cause of samsara, is the blood of the mother's womb. As it says in the same text: "The Rakta of the cause is the blood of the lotus." The third, the Rakta of the unchanging lineage, is the wisdom of individual discrimination, and all that abides as the essence of the speech Vajra, Limitless Light, which is its nature. As it says in the same text: "The Rakta of the lineage is Limitless Light." The fourth, the Rakta of the great fruit, is the heart blood of the three classes of Rudra slain by Great Glorious One. As it says in the same text: "The Rakta of the fruit is the heart blood of Chittā." The fifth, the Rakta of the substance to be accomplished, exists in thirty-five forms. As it says in the same text: "The Rakta of number is thirty-five." Furthermore, dividing it into the Rakta of example that represents and the Rakta of meaning that is represented, Firstly, there are four divisions: Mūla (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) root Rakta, unmixed pure Rakta, Rakta of essence with nutrients, and various ordinary Rakta. Firstly, there are two divisions: Rakta of the root with life and Rakta of the root without life. Firstly, that with life is one's own life.
