You are all essentially the great and supreme Heruka, but in appearance, you are the secret lord Vajrapani, dark blue in color, holding a vajra and bell, fully adorned with the attire of a fierce wrathful deity. Generate a clear appearance and stable pride. Write a black Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ，梵文天城体：हुं，梵文罗马拟音：hūṃ，汉语字面意思：吽) at the heart center. Entrust the vajra and bell into the hands, Hūṃ! May you be inclined to receive the supreme empowerment of the body of the glorious chief retinue upon your body! Hūṃ! (藏文：ཧཱུྃ༔） Great glorious true emanation, Black Great One. (藏文：དཔལ་ཆེན་དངོས་སྤྲུལ་ནག་པོ་ཆེ༔) Great wrathful one, extremely wrathful. (藏文：དྲག་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་དྲག་ཤུལ་ཆེ༔) May the great deity bestow the empowerment of the body! (藏文：ལྷ་ཆེན་སྐུ་ཡི་དབང་བསྐུར་རོ༔) Oṃ āḥ hūṃ! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ༔) Oṃ Vajra Krota Mahā Śrī Heruka Hūṃ! (藏文：ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀྲོ་ཏ་མ་ཧཱ་ཤྲཱི་ཧེ་རུ་ཀ་ཧཱུྃ༔) Mahā Krotīśvarī Sattva! (藏文：མ་ཧཱ་ཀྲོ་ཏཱི་ཤྭ་རཱི་སཏྭཾ༔) Oṃ Śrī Mahākālāya Abhiṣiñca Oṃ! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཡ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨོཾ༔) By placing the support of speech at the throat, may you be inclined to receive the supreme empowerment of speech of the great deity, the glorious chief retinue, upon your speech! Bestow nectar upon the tongue. Apply the example of the sādhana text and the life-essence to the throat. Ring the bell, and add the following mantra at the end: Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Dubiṃni Abhiṣiñca Āḥ! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་དུ་བིང་ནི་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཨཱ༔) By placing the support of mind at the heart, may you be inclined to receive the supreme empowerment of mind of the great deity, the glorious chief retinue, upon your mind! Apply the vajra and curved knife, marked with Hūṃ (藏文：ཧཱུྃ༔), to the heart, and add the following mantra at the end: Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Citta Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཙིཏྟ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ༔) (Sanskrit Devanagari: चित्त, Sanskrit Romanization: citta, Chinese literal meaning: mind) Write a single Hūṃ at the heart with a vajra. By entrusting the supports of qualities, may you be inclined to receive the empowerment of the qualities of the great deity, the glorious chief retinue, as enjoyment! Entrust the black silk to the right side of the body, the noose to the left, and the life-stone to the left armpit. Add the following mantra at the end: Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Ghaṇa Guhya Hṛta Abhiṣiñca Svāhā! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་གྷ་ཎ་གྷུ་ཧྱ་ཧྲྀ་ཏ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ༔) By entrusting the supports of activities, may you be inclined to receive the empowerment of the activities of the great deity, the glorious chief retinue, as wrathful! Entrust the khaṭvāṅga and short spear to the right hand, and the iron or acacia stake to the left hand. Add the mantra at the end: Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Vajra Kīlī Kīlaya Karma Mahākāla Abhiṣiñca Hūṃ Phaṭ! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ། བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་ཀརྨ་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་ཨ་བྷི་ཥིཉྩ་ཧཱུྃ་ཕཊ༔) With these, the actual empowerment of body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities is complete. As a conclusion, for bestowing the empowerment of wrathful liberation, you yourselves should also, with the pride of the fierce vajra rākṣasa, be endowed, and perform the visualizations of summoning, liberating, and actualizing in sequence. Arrange the skull-cup and liṅga, and sprinkle with rakta. State the power of truth and perform summoning and entering. Separate the deity with the separation mudrā and Praveśaya Phaṭ (Sanskrit Devanagari: प्रवेशय फट, Sanskrit Romanization: praveshaya phat, Chinese literal meaning: Enter Phaṭ). Pierce with the stake, cut with the curved knife, and perform actions such as throwing mustard seeds. Oṃ Śrī Mahākāla Rudra Nagpo Dabö Ñingla Sutri Citta Rbad! (藏文：ཨོཾ་ཤྲཱི་མ་ཧཱ་ཀཱ་ལ་རུ་ཏྲ་ནག་པོ་དགྲ་བོའི་སྙིང་ལ་སུ་ཏྲི་ཙིཏྟ་རྦད༔) Kindle the fierce fire homa. Within the mouths of the assembled deities, which are opened wide, offer the flesh and blood of enemies and obstructors as the essence of nectar.
