From the very nature of phenomena being like illusions, generate faith and cultivate love and compassion. Namo. I take refuge in the gurus, buddhas, bodhisattvas, the yidams, peaceful and wrathful, the vast mandala deities, the assemblies of dakinis who have accomplished wisdom and activity, and the victorious ones with their retinues. Protect us with the compassion of the Three Jewels—the Teacher, the Buddha, the sacred Dharma, and the Sangha of noble ones who have become fields of merit—who save us from the great fears of samsara. From this time onwards, until all beings attain buddhahood, I will generate the supreme bodhicitta and use my body, speech, and mind for virtue. Hrih. To the assemblies of dakinis, the main deities of the three mandalas, I respectfully prostrate, offering outer, inner, and secret offerings. I confess my sins and rejoice in virtue. I urge you to turn the wheel of the unsurpassed Dharma. I pray that you do not pass into nirvana but remain. I dedicate the roots of virtue to the great Mahayana bodhi. Hrih. To the chief mother, the great and incomparable form, Vajravarahi, the secret and joyful mother, the blazing glory of all samsara and nirvana, I take refuge, saving beings from conceptualization. Accomplishing activities such as pacifying, increasing, and empowering, controlling the good and bad of the teachings, emanating without obstruction, I take refuge in the assemblies of mothers and sisters, the dakinis. Hoping and relying on you, seeking protection, in order to accomplish all my activities, I urge you from the essential points of compassion, vows, and activities. May the fruits of karma quickly come to pass. Om Vajravarahi Hrih Mahadakini Harinisa Sarva Siddhi Phala Hum. (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Second General Meaning: Generating Oneself as the Deity. From the state of emptiness, in a realm of blazing fire, on a corpse seat, lotus, sun, and moon, I transform into the wrathful king, the great and blazing form, red-black, with one face and two hands holding a curved knife and skull cup, mouth open, bared fangs, three eyes glaring, hair tied up, green horse head neighing, beard and eyebrows blazing and sparkling, wearing an elephant skin upper garment, tiger skin loincloth, adorned with a crown of five dry skulls and jewels, a garland of fifty wet skulls and black snakes, smeared with grease and blood drops and great ashes, adorned with various silks and precious ornaments, with two legs in a dancing posture.
