A rite of offering Torma related to Tara who saves from all fears, saving from all faults. Infinite Wisdom. A rite of offering Torma related to Tara who saves from all fears, saving from all faults. Infinite Wisdom. A rite of offering Torma related to Tara who saves from all fears, called "Saving from all Faults," is present. Namo Guru Aryatareye. (Tibetan: ན་མོ་གུ་རུ་ཨཱརྻ་ཏཱ་ར་ཡེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो गुरु आर्यतारेये, Sanskrit Romanization: namo guru āryatāraye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to Guru Arya Tara). Just by remembering, one is saved from immediate and long-term fears. Grant the common and supreme attainments upon request. You are the supreme deity who gives birth to all Buddhas and their sons. I prostrate to the inseparable Guru, please grant blessings. Like the king of various jewels, whatever activity is desired is easily accomplished. It is a supreme and wonderful method for accomplishment, bestowing the seeds of benefit and happiness for oneself and others. For the general benefit of the country and the specific benefit of individuals, this is an extremely profound and swift means of accomplishing whatever activities are desired, a particularly excellent and complete Torma offering rite. The steps for undertaking this are threefold: preliminary preparation and arrangement of the base; the main part, the sixteen activities; and finally, the conclusion of the rite by offering the Torma and concluding the ritual. First, in front of the Tara image and other sacred objects, on a large square wooden platform, using fine earth mixed with powdered jewels, construct a four-tiered Mount Meru with a wide and expansive top. In the four directions are: the eastern continent, round; the southern continent, trapezoidal; the western continent, crescent-shaped; the northern continent, square. Mount Meru and the continents are colored according to their directions, with the east being white, and so on, with blue, red, and yellow. Finally, surround it with a black iron fence. If possible, construct a complete mandala with doors on top of Mount Meru. If it is difficult to create with colored powders, use a painted mandala and arrange colored piles. If even that is not possible, it is said that it is sufficient to use only a seat and a deity image. Alternatively, place a circular or mandala plate, in the center of which is a lotus with eight petals of various colors. Behind that, twenty-one petals. Behind that, surround it with one hundred and eight petals, and place green colored piles in the center and on the lotus petals. Place an umbrella on top. Hang a victory banner and a flag on the right and left sides, or, if possible, hang about four in each direction. Finally, arrange two water offerings and offerings in a clockwise direction. On the first tier, for Tara and other attendant guests, place four round tables in the four directions. In the corners, place as many small round Tormas as possible. On the second tier

For the meritorious guests, alternately place white tormas and red tormas. Third, for the obstructing forces, place tsampa balls. Fourth, for the six realms of beings, place as many pills as possible, filling them without interruption. In the sky of the four continents, on the platforms slightly lower than the center, place a seven-heap mandala on each platform, surrounded by two sets of water and sensory offerings. In front of these, on the four continents below, place four golden statuettes riding jade horses, adorned with silk and jewels, drawing bows and arrows, all facing east. For each of the four, place twenty-six similar statuettes of small people and small horses, facing their respective main deities. The four main deities represent the sky and distant views, directional colors, and the shapes of bows, arrows, and tree patterns. If possible, the retinue should also have colors such as sky green. In the tiers and intervals, place images of various animals such as birds, beasts of prey, mountain animals, domestic animals, aquatic animals, etc., as well as weapons and other items cast in molds. Fill them abundantly with various offerings such as silk, jewels, grains, medicines, white sugar, and food. On the iron fence, alternately place as many distant views, bows, arrows, tree patterns, and stakes as possible. In front of it, on a wide platform, place offerings ranging from one hundred and eight to seven, as well as whatever offerings are available, along with white beer, sweet beer, chang beer, and blood beer. Place effigies, ornaments, and various offerings that can be gathered together. In a convenient corner, gather the necessary items such as self-arisen deity offerings, barley flour, white dough, longevity pills, longevity wine, first torma offerings, and scattering offerings. Secondly, the main practice also consists of two parts: preliminary and main practice. The first part is: from the lineage prayer, torma offering, dedication to the self-generation deity recitation, follow the ritual manual. Finally, perform offering, praise, and supplication. Recite the Vajrasattva mantra. Then, visualize the torma offerings in front and bless them according to the ritual manual. According to what is said, with the six-syllable mantra and six mudras, bless all things including the four continents, Mount Meru, and sensual pleasures, transforming them into a vast treasure of Samantabhadra's offerings. Visualize oneself as Shakyamuni Buddha. The hand mudra comes from the white A syllable. Light radiates, and the defilements of the offerings and clinging to reality are purified, becoming emptiness. Join the palms with the palms hollow, and recite Om Svabhava (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་སྭཱ་བྷཱ་བ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओṃ स्वाभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ svābhāva, Meaning: Om Svabhava)
