Please repeat after me. Root guru of the lineage, venerable master. (Recite) three times. For the benefit of all sentient beings, to attain the state of complete and perfect enlightenment. For that purpose, I shall enter the profound path of empowerment, thinking thus, repeat after me. To accomplish the benefit of self and others, inseparable. (Recite) three times. To receive the special vows, thinking thus, repeat after me. All the Buddhas with their sons, and all the assemblies of heroes and yoginis, please pay attention to me. I, named so-and-so, from this time until enlightenment, as the samaya of the Buddhas and dakinis, will cultivate love for all sentient beings. As the samaya of the Vajra Dakini, I will engage in fierce and harsh conduct. As the samaya of the Ratna Dakini, I will give without attachment to all things. As the samaya of the Padma Dakini, I will speak and rely on wisdom. As the samaya of the Karma Dakini, I will engage in running and jumping conduct. As the general samaya of the dakinis, I will partake of the five nectars. The three samayas of gathering are: not abandoning the shepherd and cutting off attachment. The three ways of reversing attachment are: not abandoning the shepherd to the objects of appearance, cutting off attachment to food and wealth, and reversing attachment to retinue and servants. For the sake of all sentient beings, I take all the vows and precepts without exception. I will liberate those who have not been liberated, and free those who have not been freed. I will give breath to those who have not breathed, and establish sentient beings in peaceful nirvana. Recite three times. Then, the actual fire empowerment. First, for the sake of blessing, visualize as follows: Your body's key points are the six fire hearths and bonds, blow three times with the sang breath. Then, under each person's feet, visualize a wind mandala in the shape of a drawn bow, marked with (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: यं, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Yang) on the supreme mother's banner and handle. In the excretory passage, visualize the red (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Rang). The key point of speech is the union of breath, and with the mind, recite (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: यं, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Yang), urging the supreme mother's banner.
