After the ground is prepared, offer a mandala as the fee for requesting the actual empowerment. Second, the actual empowerments are conferred in sequence. First, repeat this supplication: KYE! Vajra Holder, Lord of the Mandala! PHURBA, the unsurpassed! May I enter the great mandala! Please bestow the complete four empowerments! Request three times. Then, first, the vase empowerment: All the deities of Vajrakila appear in the sky above the crown of your heads, uttering the mantra sound of Kīlaya, diri diri. All the assemblies of vidyadharas and dakinis recite auspicious verses, and like the falling of blessings, sharara occurs and dissolves into the crown of your heads. Meditate that all the Vajrakila deities in the skull cup transform into pure, luminous bodies. Holding the vase: HŪṂ! In the pure vase, the palace of the Dharmakaya! The deities of Phurba, the Sambhogakaya, reside! For the sake of taming beings with the Nirmanakaya of compassion! May the complete empowerment be bestowed upon the fortunate son! May you attain the supreme, immutable vajra of body, speech, and mind! Then, holding the main phurba: Meditate that this main phurba actually appears as the great glorious Vajrakumara, radiating immeasurable light from his body, dissolving into your three places, purifying the obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, and receiving the complete empowerment of the great glorious body, speech, and mind. HŪṂ! From the very nature of unborn Dharmata! The miraculous manifestations of birth are complete! For the benefit of beings through skillful means! Whatever is tamed by love and compassion! Having perfected the enlightened activities! Bestow empowerment and accomplishment here! Accomplish the wisdom wrathful one!
