A glanceable manual of Yuthok's Heart Drop activities, the Nectar Pool. Karma Ngakwang Yonten Gyatso. A work called "A Glanceable Manual of Yuthok's Heart Drop Activities, the Nectar Pool" is presented. Namo Guru Guna Nathaya. The embodiment of the ten powers, the light of Vaidurya. The physician who heals all diseases of cause and effect. Who manifested as an accomplished body in the land of snow. I prostrate to Yuthok, the protector of beings. Among his methods of practice, outer, inner, and secret, The outer activity practice, the source of accomplishment, A concise, easily carried, combined and clear supplement, Is written because it was permitted by the all-pervading lama. Here, having received empowerment in the mandala of the king of medicine, the assembly of lineages, and the practitioner who abides by the vows of common and special, To take this activity, which is particularly superior to other profound paths, as the path, there are two aspects: establishing the support for practice; and performing the activity as recitation and meditation. The first is: in a pleasant and blessed place such as a forest of medicine, if one can arrange the blessed supports of body, speech, and mind in a clean and ornamented meditation room, then on a table in front, arrange a painted mandala that accords with realization, or on top of a mandala, arrange five piles of flowers, and on top of that, in a beautiful container raised by a manjushri, a torma of precious flames adorned with lotus petals and four finger rings each, and if possible, arrange tsakli, mantra boards, mirrors, silk umbrellas, and blue ones as supports for body, speech, and mind. In front, arrange offering tormas. On the right and left, arrange medicine, rakta, skull cups filled with essence, two waters, sensual objects, and banners in rows. Arrange them around during the practice. On the back, if one wishes to arrange them extensively, arrange the old-style general offering torma. If one wishes to simplify, it is not necessary. In any case, to the right of that, in a container of iron or bandha, offer a triangular red torma to the nine classes of oath-bound protectors, the nine deities of the main retinue, or if one simplifies, surround one red torma with eight finger rings, adorned with flesh and blood. On the left, offer white round four-petaled pills to the general assembly of sages, gods, and medicine.

Arrange offerings adorned with medicine and silk, surrounded by banners. As in a festival offering when not practicing, medicine, rakta, and offerings are sufficient on the right and left of the torma radiating precious light. Mandala, representations of body, speech, and mind, and offerings in front of the torma are not necessary if they are not complete. Whether extensive or concise, the preliminary torma, white torma, food offerings, tsok implements, chad tho stable torma, and Dharma protector torma offerings, as well as flowers, incense, music, and other necessary implements should be gathered. Second, the actual activity is threefold: preliminaries, main practice, and subsequent procedures. The first is: "Lineage supplication, outer offering, command empowerment boundary, refuge, bodhicitta, accumulation of tsok, confession, blessings, blessing of offering substances, are the preliminary procedures." That is, first, according to the common practice of the Nyingma school, either the extensive lineage supplication composed by Zurkharwa Nyamnyi Dorje, or, in brief: "Buddha Medicine Guru who cures the three poisons and diseases, Chief of the wisdom dakinis, glorious garland, Only refuge of the beings of the snowy land, Yuthokpa, Feet of Yeshe Zung and Palden Zhonnu, Buddha Ratna Vajra, Dondrup Gyaltsen, Drangti Konchok Kyab, Glorious Healer Zulpu Menmo Che, Sonam Wangpo, unequaled great yogi, Hermit Zhikpo, Zurkhar Chokyi Je, Konchok Palzang, bearing the name of Jampa, Gonpo Palwa, Donlek Dondrup name, Gampopa Chodwang, Drikung Chokyi Drak, Konchok Lhundrup, Konchok Trinley Sang, Tenzin Drodul Konchok Chog Gyatso, Dondrup Choggyal, illuminator of the teachings, Karma Chokga, clear light, unchanging." Or, after "Zurkhar Chokyi Je," add: "Konchok Palzang Namkha Palden Zhap, Dudjom Dorje, Tashi Tobkyi Gyal, Ngagi Wangpo, Choying Rangsar Drol, Dorje Tokme, Jetsun Terdak Ling, Rinchen Namgyal, Chonyi Rangdrol, and Pema Sheyen Ngawang Kuntu Zang, Pema Dudul Yeshe Chokdrub Zhap, Losal Tenkyong Lekdrub Khyentse Wang." In any case, at the end: "Root and lineage lamas, refuges of beings.
