The vajra of the body of the Sugata is accomplished. One has the authority to meditate on the deity of the body. The result is the attainment of the Nirmanakaya. As it enters the throat, the secret empowerment is obtained. The obscurations of speech are purified. The vajra of the speech of the Sugata is accomplished. One has the authority to recite mantras. The result is the attainment of the Sambhogakaya. As it enters the heart, the empowerment of wisdom and knowledge is obtained. The obscurations of the mind are purified. The vajra of the mind of the Sugata is accomplished. One has the authority to meditate on the completion stage. The result is the attainment of the Dharmakaya. As it enters the navel, the precious word empowerment is obtained. The obscurations of holding the three doors as separate are purified. One has the authority to meditate on the inseparability of the generation and completion stages. The result is the accomplishment of the Svabhavikakaya, the wisdom vajra essence. Therefore, generate such certainty. Then, the innermost essence of all empowerments, the empowerment of the power of awareness, or the empowerment of ultimate wisdom, will be bestowed. This is an empowerment that does not depend on conventional substances, but is the empowerment of self-recognition of self-arisen wisdom. Therefore, all of you, in a posture that possesses the key points of the body and the view, do not let this mind follow after the past, nor anticipate the future. By saying this, the student's stream of discursive thoughts is cut off, and awareness arises clearly and nakedly. Introduce it in this way: O fortunate sons of noble family, know this!
