Entrust the image. Hūṃ. Glorious Great Padma Heruka, Possessing the power to subdue pride. I entrust this Naga to you as a servant. Subdue and overpower it. Thus, for each of the eighteen arrogant ones, make a vow and offer a torma, entrusting them as servants. Please, with great respect, accept the command to do whatever is asked of you. Therefore, you will gain control over the lives of the arrogant ones, and all acts of arrogance will be brought under your control. As a vow, view the ground of reality as the basis of Dharma. Meditate in a state inseparable from the clear appearance of the deity, grasping the life stones of the arrogant ones. Always diligently engage in offering praise and supplication, and avoid harshly urging them to work for your own benefit or for trivial matters. It is necessary to possess the key points of what to abandon and what to adopt. Thus, advise and pronounce auspiciousness. Proclaim and uphold the vows. Perform the giving of thanks as usual. Afterwards, offer the great torma to the arrogant ones with their respective mantras and Kha-hi. Make offerings and praises as appropriate, and pray for the desired purpose, then request them to depart. Enjoy the tsok and give away the leftovers, etc., as described in the root empowerment, and accomplishment will be attained.
