The Bakhal Terma Text, Avalokiteśvara Branch. The Bakhal Terma Text, Avalokiteśvara Branch. The Bakhal Terma Text is present. Om Mani Padme Hum. (Tibetan: ༀ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum) I prostrate to the Great Compassionate One! The protector of the Great Compassionate One's command, the root of blessings, the practice of the secret wisdom dakini. That is, the one called Amitabha Buddha, who looks upon all sentient beings with great compassion, especially the borderland country, the land of Tibet, the red-faced rakshasa, where the feet of the perfectly complete Buddha have not trod. He looks upon that extremely difficult-to-tame one with great compassion. To subdue all men, he emanated as the Great Compassionate Avalokiteśvara, and prophesied that he would subdue them with compassion and skillful means. To subdue women, he emanated as the secret wisdom dakini, and prophesied that he would bring them under his control with compassion and skillful means. To subdue demons, heretics, fierce gods and spirits, he emanated as the wrathful glorious Hayagriva, and prophesied that he would subdue them. Then, the three emanations of Amitabha Buddha urged Guru Padmasambhava, "We are emanations of Amitabha Buddha, and we have prophesied that all men and women, gods and arrogant spirits in the land of Tibet, the red-faced rakshasa, will be subdued. Guru Padmasambhava, you are an emanation of Amitabha Buddha to subdue the wicked beings to be tamed in both India and Tibet, so we will also help you." Thus, he showed his true form. The essence is: Om Ah Hum Hrih. (Tibetan: ༀ་ཨཱཿཧཱུྃ་ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari:, Sanskrit Roman transliteration:, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Ah Hum Hrih) Om Mani Padme Hum. (Tibetan: ༀ་མ་ཎི་པདྨེ་ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ मणि पद्मे हूँ, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om Mani Padme Hum) Thus, it was offered to Guru Padmasambhava, saying, "May this subdue sentient beings." The land of Tibet, the land of snow, the land of the red-faced rakshasa, which is controlled by demons and rakshasas, will be subdued, as prophesied. Then, the emanation prophesied by Amitabha Buddha, Guru Padmasambhava, was invited to Tibet by the prince of Tibet, Trisong Detsen, the emanation of the noble Manjushri, to subdue the ground of glorious Samye Monastery in Tibet. He looked upon the beings to be tamed with compassion, and therefore came to Tibet. He brought the three deities of his heart commitment under his control with compassion and skillful means, namely, Avalokiteśvara Buddha.

With the compassion and skillful means of observation, he subdued the king of Tibet and all the ministers, subjects, men, and husbands. With the compassion and skillful means of secret wisdom, he subdued the queen and all the women of the king. With the compassion and skillful means of glorious Hayagriva, he subdued all the demons, ghosts, and fierce evil spirits. He built the glorious Samye Monastery and placed all beings in happiness. This is the first chapter, the introduction. Then, in order to bless the secret yogi and to practice the secret wisdom dakini, go to a secluded place, a charnel ground, or a place where dakinis gather. It is best to find soil that is no more than a day old from the intercourse of a man and a woman, or that still retains warmth. Make a square mandala on that soil. If you can find a mixture of wine, cinnabar, and the semen and menstrual blood from the intercourse of a man and a woman, or something that has fallen out of a woman's womb, that is best. If you cannot find it, take the semen of a clean man and the semen of a clean woman and make a simple mandala. Draw four lotus petals with a mixture of rouge and menstrual blood. Then, the arrangement of the substances is to have a male skull and a female skull, both with characteristics. On the male skull, draw four lotus petals with the menstrual blood and rouge of a woman. On the female skull, mix the semen of a man with conch powder and cinnabar and draw a mandala with four lotus petals. In the center of the male skull, write "Om Mani Padme Hum" (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ,汉语字面意思:Om, the jewel in the lotus, Hum!). On the four lotus petals, write the four male syllables "Ra Tsa Hri Ya". In the center of the female skull, write "Om Dhuma Ghaye Namah Svaha" (藏文,梵文天城体:,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ dhūma ghaye namaḥ svāhā,汉语字面意思:Om, Smoke Goddess, Homage, Svaha!). On the four lotus petals, write the four female syllables "Ha Ri Ni Sa". Inside the male skull, write "Subdue the woman". Inside the female skull, write "Subdue the man". Put the two skulls together, tie them crosswise with five-colored threads or red threads, and place them on the mandala. Visualize the secret wisdom dakini arising in your heart and in the heart of Avalokiteshvara. In the palace outside the mandala, in the palace inside the skull, visualize Avalokiteshvara and the secret wisdom dakini arising. Think that the two of them are subduing male and female beings and obeying your commands, and then practice with the mantra. By doing this, you will subdue all beings. This is the second chapter, which relies on the outer mandala and the combination of skulls. Inner vow substance skull
