The Vajra Jewel Longevity Practice is to avert untimely death, restore diminished life, extend exhausted life, and teach the auspicious practice of longevity. Mandala substances and Samadhi, mantra and invoking the assembly of deities, bestowing longevity empowerment, absorbing and stabilizing, auspicious pronouncements and aspirations. First, the explanation of the mandala is to construct the mandala for taming beings. Or on a clean mandala, scatter grains and create a six-petaled lotus. The substance is the longevity vase, the outer vase is made of precious jewels, without cracks or damage, clean. Inside is a Kapala with auspicious signs, filled with the best, nutritious, and undamaged grains, barley, rice, flour mixed with ghee, seasoned with various spices, with longevity ears of grain, combined with the number of brother pills, pour in medicine and nectar longevity wine, make longevity supports of gold and turquoise. Place the longevity vase in the center of the mandala, dispel obstacles, burn Gugul incense. In the mandala of the Great Compassionate One, generate the Samaya Sattva mandala, invoke and absorb the Wisdom Mandala. Inside the palace of the longevity vase, the deity is the protector Amitayus, with a reddish-yellow body, endowed with light, one face and two hands holding the longevity vase, and the consort embraces Mamaqi. The four families of father and mother are surrounded by attendants, the body color and hand symbols indicate the family. The right hand holds the hand symbol of the family, the left hand holds the longevity vase, surrounded by the eight auspicious goddesses, clearly generate within the longevity vase. From all the realms of the three thousand worlds, Life diminished and life exhausted, Life lost in the hands of gods and demons, Having seized and summoned, instill them into myself. Then, the five mothers instill and smear. Then, bestow the empowerment of life. Speaking auspicious words, bestow the empowerment, Take the accomplishment of the ear of life, life pills, and life wine, etc. You will obtain the accomplishment of life. Like myself, Padmasambhava, Obtained the accomplishment of immortal life. By composing this great life-accomplishment practice, May all beings attain long life and accomplishment! The great accomplishment of the Great Compassionate One's life practice is complete. Treasure sealed! Hidden sealed! Entrusted sealed! Sealed! Sealed! Sealed! Homage to the Great Compassionate One! This precious life practice of the Great Compassionate One has nine aspects of meaning: Drawing the mandala, Arranging the substances, The samadhi of life, The gathering and scattering of mantra, Invoking the assembly of deities and summoning life, The empowerment of life, Life instilled and stabilized, Speaking auspicious words, And making aspirations. First, drawing the mandala: If establishing the text of the life-accomplishment practice, then establish the mandala of the Great Compassionate One subduing beings. If suddenly performing a life ritual, then spread barley on the mandala, Make a six-petaled lotus, and place the life vase in its center.
