The offering of symbols is: To offer to the Guru and Avalokiteśvara whatever medicines, grains, water, etc., are pleasing and seen, accepting them willingly. The offering of representation is: To offer one's own body without attachment or clinging to it as an object of offering. If there is no clinging to all of this, the offering will be properly made. Third, in terms of praise: The outer praise is: To praise the deity and oneself as the color, ornaments, and attire of Avalokiteśvara, thinking that they are pleased and grant accomplishments, and then to praise. The inner praise is: To visualize oneself as the deity, thinking that one is more radiant than before, and then to praise. The secret praise is: Since the deity and oneself are inseparable, knowing that it cannot be accomplished separately, one praises. The ultimate praise is: Since the nature of reality is equal and impartial, one praises thinking that one's own mind and the mind of Avalokiteśvara are indistinguishable. The praise of symbols is: To praise Avalokiteśvara's color, face, hands, and ornaments individually, from the perspective of the necessity of the three aspects of meaning, symbol, and representation. The praise of representation is: To praise by dividing the praise into words and melodies, thinking that the deity is pleased and blesses oneself. Fourth, in terms of supplication: The outer supplication is: To invite the Guru, Yidam, and Dakini in the sky in front, and to offer supplications outwards with the six-syllable mantra, thinking that blessings will be bestowed back. The inner supplication is: To offer to the body, speech, and mind of the Three Roots, thinking that one's own body, speech, and mind are blessed. The secret supplication is: From the union of the father and mother aspects of the Guru, Yidam, and Dakini, light emanates and strikes one's own body, thinking that one experiences relief and bliss in breathing. The ultimate supplication is: Thinking that one is blessed by the Three Roots, and that the nature of mind becomes self-arising and self-liberating. The supplication of symbols is: To think that the Guru, Yidam, and Dakini are always present as ornaments on the crown of one's head, bestowing blessings. The supplication of representation is: To supplicate with words and melodies, and to eliminate obstacles and guide the path by cultivating extraordinary devotion. Fifth, in terms of Tsatsas: The outer Tsatsa is: To mix precious stones and various medicines into clay, thinking that one is sculpting a pile of jewels. Reciting the six-syllable mantra, making Tsatsas of the Dharmakaya, Tsatsas of the Sambhogakaya.

Think that this very Sāñcā (Sāñcā, Devanagari: sāñcā, IAST: sāñcā, literally: small clay image) itself appears as a stupa externally and as Mahākaruṇā internally. The inner Sāñcā is: Think of whatever food you eat as a pile of jewels. When you cut a mouthful, think of it as the Dharmakāya. When you swallow it, think of it as the Sambhogakāya. When you excrete the waste, think of it as appearing as the Nirmāṇakāya, and think that the obscurations of all sentient beings who smell that odor are purified. The secret Sāñcā is: On the dirt of your own body's flesh, place the Sāñcā of the Yidam Mahākaruṇā. If it remains clear, it is stable. If it cannot be placed, it is firm. The ultimate Sāñcā is: In the image of the basis, the nature of reality, place the dirt of unceasing awareness. By placing the self-arising, self-liberating Sāñcā, if there is no one to place it, it is stable. The symbolic Sāñcā is: In the image of the outer world, place the dirt of sentient beings, the essence. By placing the Sāñcā of non-duality of Saṃsāra and Nirvāṇa, all sentient beings spontaneously accomplish Buddhahood, which is the stable Sāñcā. The representative Sāñcā is: The right hand is the five bodies, the left hand is the five wisdoms. From between the five bodies and five wisdoms, think of all actions and deeds as the three bodies. Whatever you do is the activity of the Buddha. If it is seized by Bodhicitta, it is stable. Sixth is bathing. The outer bathing is: Bathe the image of Mahākaruṇā and other blessed objects with fragrant water on the surface of a mirror. Since the blessings of the body, speech, and mind of that object appear in the water, think that by bathing yourself, your obscurations are purified. The inner bathing is: Recite and drink the six syllables, thinking that all diseases and obscurations are expelled from the stomach by the urine. The secret bathing is: Think that the deities bathe your own Mahākaruṇā, thereby purifying all your sins and obscurations. The ultimate bathing is: Think that you are cleaning the clear and pure wisdom with the water of non-conceptual Dharmatā. The symbolic bathing is: Think that all conceptualizations and habitual tendencies are purified by the self-arising, self-liberating awareness. The representative bathing is: Think that after bathing the image of Mahākaruṇā, it becomes radiant, bright, and glorious. The second general topic is the six practices for the living: empowerment, longevity practice, blessing, staff treatment, protection wheel, and disease removal. First, empowerment. The outer empowerment is: In front of the image of Mahākaruṇā,
