Through all the roots of virtue accumulated in the three times, all that exists, and the roots of virtue accumulated now, may I and all sentient beings attain the precious Bodhi, the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment. Until such a state is attained, may we in all lifetimes obtain a human body with leisure and endowments. Having obtained it, may we meet a virtuous spiritual friend who teaches the Dharma of the Great Vehicle. Having met them, may we train our minds in the three kinds of wisdom, from the beginning to the highest level. Having trained, may we not be attached to any worldly things, but prioritize practice. May all sickness and suffering in this life be pacified. At the time of death, may all diseases that cut off life be pacified due to non-attachment. In the bardo, may the wisdom of non-duality arise in our own minds. May we obtain a friend who never separates, because there is no coming together. May we obtain a path that never errs, because there is no samsara. May we obtain a life that never dies, because there is no birth. May we obtain the perfect enjoyment of Samadhi that never diminishes, because there is no accumulation. May we obtain the Dharmakaya like the sky. May we obtain the Sambhogakaya like the rising sun. May we obtain the Nirmanakaya like the rays of the sun, with uninterrupted compassion. May we be able to benefit all sentient beings wandering in the three realms of samsara. May we truly obtain all of this. Thus, and so on. The fifth is auspiciousness: Om Mani Padme Hum (藏文，唵嘛呢叭咪吽，oṃ maṇi padme hūṃ，Lotus-born). After accumulating merit, it is appropriate to supplement it with the pure scriptures of the Kadampa tradition, which is a collection of the words of the previous lamas. Also, if one wishes to perform the activities of Namkhai Gyalpo in this tradition, the main thing is to add a thousand hands and a thousand eyes in place of the four-armed being who tames beings, and to mainly recite the long dharani during the recitation. Otherwise, everything else can be accomplished with this ritual alone. May the practice of the protector of the snowy mountains, which is the supreme of hundreds of millions of kotis, the blessed father Dharma of Tibet, be clearly explained as in our own tradition, may the activities of this tradition never decline, may the sound of the six-syllable Dharma be filled, and may all sentient beings in this land achieve the supreme liberation of the noble ones!
