Or having entered the right path, or having entered the Mahayana, to sentient beings other than those, having done unpleasant things, having reviled, having beaten, having contempt for them, having generated hatred, jealousy, and with a mind born from stinginess, having spoken harsh words to the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, having said that the Dharma is not Dharma, and having said that what is not Dharma is the Dharma, those Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are knowers, are eyes, are witnesses, are measures, possessing knowledge, possessing sight, before them I confess individually, I admit, I do not conceal, and I will not do it again. May the karma that obscures me, that will cause me to go to the hells of sentient beings, the birthplaces of animals, the realms of pretas, the assemblies of asuras, and that will not cause me to please the Buddhas, the Dharma, and the Sangha, and that will cause me to be born in places without leisure, may that karma ripen in this very body, and may I not experience it elsewhere. Again, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are knowers, are eyes, are witnesses, are measures, possessing knowledge, possessing sight, before them I confess individually, I admit, I do not conceal, and I will not do it again. Just as the Bodhisattvas, the great beings of the past, when they practiced for enlightenment in the past, confessed their karmic obscurations individually, and did not conceal them, so too, I confess my karmic obscurations individually, I admit, I do not conceal, and I will not do it again. Just as the Bodhisattvas, the great beings of the future, when they practice the conduct of a Bodhisattva, will confess their karmic obscurations individually, and will not conceal them, so too, I confess my karmic obscurations individually, I admit, I do not conceal, and I will not do it again. Just as in the present ten directions of the world, the Bodhisattvas, the great beings, when they practice for enlightenment, confess their karmic obscurations individually, and do not conceal them, so too, I confess my karmic obscurations individually, I admit, I do not conceal.

O! I will not do it again in the future! Just as the Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who appeared in the past, future, and present, when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, confessed their karmic obscurations separately and did not conceal them, so too, I confess my karmic obscurations separately. I confess! I do not conceal! I will not do it again in the future! Then, the prayer for rejoicing is: In the ten directions of the world, whatever sentient beings, whatever merit is produced from generosity, and whatever is produced from discipline, and whatever merit is produced from meditation, I rejoice in all of these manifest accumulations with the supreme rejoicing. I rejoice in the supreme rejoicing, the principal, the special, the excellent, the best, the abundant, the supreme, the unsurpassed, the incomparable, the unequal, and the equal. In the past, whatever sentient beings in the ten directions of the world, whatever merit is produced from generosity, and whatever is produced from discipline, and whatever merit is produced from meditation, I rejoice in all of these manifest accumulations with the supreme rejoicing. From rejoicing onwards, I rejoice until the rejoicing is unequal and equal. Whatever sentient beings in the future, in the ten directions of the world, whatever merit is produced from generosity, and whatever is produced from discipline, and whatever merit is produced from meditation, I rejoice in all of these manifest accumulations with the supreme rejoicing, from rejoicing onwards, I rejoice until the rejoicing is unequal and equal. Whatever Bodhisattvas who now generate the first thought, what is the root of virtue possessed by those who first generate the supreme Bodhicitta, what is the accumulation of merit produced by Bodhisattvas for hundreds of kalpas, what is the accumulation of merit of those Bodhisattvas who have attained the tolerance of non-arising Dharma, what is the accumulation of merit of the non-retreaters, what is the merit of the Bodhisattvas who are bound by one birth

For all those aggregates, from the supreme rejoicing, I rejoice, from rejoicing unequal to equal, I rejoice. Those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, in the past when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, for accumulating the roots of virtue endowed with the six perfections, for all those, from the supreme rejoicing, I rejoice, from the excellent rejoicing, to the principal, the special, the excellent, the superior, the abundant, the supreme, the incomparable, the unsurpassed, the unequaled, from unequal to equal, I rejoice. The future Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, when practicing conduct for enlightenment, for accumulating the aggregates of merit endowed with the six perfections, for all those, also from the supreme rejoicing, I rejoice, from the excellent rejoicing, to the principal, the special, the excellent, the superior, the abundant, the supreme, the incomparable, the unsurpassed, the unequaled, from unequal to equal, I rejoice. Those Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, who are now practicing for enlightenment in the ten directions of the world, they are accumulating the aggregates of merit endowed with the six perfections, for all those, also from rejoicing to the supreme rejoicing, from the excellent rejoicing, to the principal and special, the excellent, the superior, the abundant, the supreme, the incomparable, the unsurpassed, the unequaled and unequal to equal, I rejoice.
