Having bestowed the empowerment of the precious general, may victory be won over the battle of saṃsāra! Bestowing the eight auspicious symbols. Svasti! By relying on this golden umbrella, may the power of ultimate protection be obtained! By relying on this golden fish, may the power of unobstructed vision be obtained! By relying on this white conch shell, may the power of unceasing sound be obtained! By relying on this lotus, may the power of sixty qualities be obtained! By relying on this vase, may the power of self-arising dharmas be obtained! By relying on this victory banner, may the power of the undying teachings be obtained! By relying on this glorious knot, may the power of clear and radiant light be obtained! By relying on this wheel, may the power of swift and rapid qualities be obtained! Entrusting the eight substances. Hūṃ! The Dharma conch shell that protects from afflictions, The white mustard seed that destroys the armies of māras, The ghee that eliminates diseases, The great cinnabar that subjugates beings, The yogurt that increases merit and strength, The kuśa grass seat that subdues long life and māras, The mirror that illuminates all appearances and existence, The auspicious and abundant bilva fruit, Bestow the empowerment of the eight auspicious substances! Thus, scatter flowers and speak auspicious words as appropriate. Thus, from the Dharma lineage of Yidam Gongpa Düpa, in the maṇḍala of the Bhagavan Amitābha, the precious wheel of long life empowerment has been fully accomplished. Connect with these auspicious circumstances and vow the samaya. Offer the maṇḍala of gratitude, offer body and possessions, make aspirations, and the disciples return to their respective places. The guru performs the feast, the offering of leftovers, and the fulfillment of activities as clearly stated in the ritual. After obtaining the siddhis, perform a brief thanksgiving and praise. Confession of faults and so forth can also be accomplished by following the ritual.
