Radu, concealed are the one hundred and eight longevity practices. Especially this Iron Treasury, is the very essence of all practices. For the yogi who practices this, untimely death will not occur; even if one's lifespan is exhausted, death can be averted for three years. Thus, with praises and meaningful empowerment practices, connect and begin offering the mandala. With palms together, holding flowers, repeat this supplication. HO! Great Hero Heruka, Lord of all lineages, Vajradhara, Glorious Lama, please consider, Please take care of the fortunate ones. Repeat three times. First, in order to purify the lineage, visualize the mandala of the Bhagavan Amitayus, inseparable from the Guru, surrounded by the Three Roots and the ocean of Buddhas like a cloud. Clearly obtain the aspirations of the ten-limbed practice, which gathers the essence of accumulation and purification, and repeat this. HRIH! From the western realm of Sukhavati, Descend the immortal deities of longevity, Sit on the lotus sun and moon seat, Body, speech, and mind, respectfully prostrate, Outer, inner, and secret offerings are made, Confess and purify broken vows, sins, and obscurations, Rejoice in all merits, Urge to turn the wheel of Dharma, Pray not to pass into sorrow, Dedicate the roots of virtue to all six realms, May we obtain a body without birth and death! The ground where the disciple dwells, Is formed with patterns of golden eyes, In the center, on a throne supported by peacocks, Stacked with iron lotuses, suns, and moons, From the emptiness of aggregates, elements, and sense bases, Arises the awareness protector Amitayus, Red and clear, in equipoise, holding a longevity vase, Adorned with silks and various jewels, The vast realm is perfected in the body, In vajra posture, peaceful in demeanor, The enjoyment body possesses marks and signs, The five families adorn the head, the heart is the life force HRIH, Inseparable embrace with White-robed Mother, Vidyadhara Dakini, goddess of longevity, Four families, father and mother, four lords of longevity, Four swift mothers and four gatekeepers, Gate mothers, hermits, assembly of vidyadharas, Lords of longevity surround like a cloud, Inviting the accomplishments of longevity from their abode, Clear as an image in a mirror. Filling the sky, earth, and intermediate space, blazing with splendor and glory, like rain falling into the ocean, gently dissolving into the crown of the disciples' heads. Arrow banners wave, accompanied by incense and music. Hrīḥ. In the first aeon of the past, in the realm of Sukhavati, the Blessed One Amitayus, Father and Mother, attained the state of deathless vidyadhara, surrounded by an ocean of victorious ones. Please bestow your blessings upon this supreme place, grant the four empowerments to the supreme practitioners, and dispel the obstacles of evil influences and life. In the intermediate aeon that followed, after the coming of Shakyamuni Buddha, the vidyadhara Padmasambhava, Father and Mother, achieved immortality at Maratika, surrounded by a retinue of vidyadharas. Please bestow your blessings upon this supreme place, grant the four empowerments to the supreme practitioners, and dispel the obstacles of evil influences and life. Then, when Padmasambhava resided, at Maratika itself, the dakini White Tara, mistress of life, accomplished the deathless life vidyadhara, surrounded by an ocean of accomplished goddesses. Please bestow your blessings upon this supreme place, grant the four empowerments to the supreme practitioners, and dispel the obstacles of evil influences and life. Now, we yogis are practicing the deathless vidyadhara, may the great blessings descend, may the great empowerments be bestowed, dispel obstacles and evil influences, restore the diminished essence of life, may glory and prosperity increase like the waxing moon, grant the indestructible and unshakeable siddhi.
