The essence of all three thousand worlds, the supreme method of longevity pills, the wine of wisdom, this immortal substance of longevity, by offering it to the fortunate child, may the power of the root channels, winds, and bindus increase, and may all supreme and common siddhis be attained! Oṃ āḥ hūṃ amarāṇi jīvanti vajra āyuṣe ratna jñāna abhiṣiñca svāhā! Recite this and drink. In order to ensure that the Vajra Longevity Empowerment does not diminish and remains stable, make the aspiration to integrate and conceal longevity in this way. Outwardly, like the goddesses of the five elements, inwardly, like the five mothers of the families, emanate self-similar emanations that pervade the realms of the world, the blessings of all the peaceful and wrathful deities of the five families of longevity deities. All the power of gods, the power of nāgas, the hermits, the vidyādharas, the life force of beings "nṛ" and all the essence of the sky, sun, moon, and four elements, condensed into rays of light, dissolving into the pores of your skin, contemplate that you have attained the Vajra life of no birth and no death. Place the longevity arrow crosswise on the crown of the head, and then touch the two shoulders and the left and right waists. Hūṃ hrīḥ! Five families of Sugatas, Amitāyus, in the wisdom of purifying afflictions, integrate longevity here and increase merit and glory! May auspiciousness be upon you all! The mother who is the nature of the five elements, if longevity declines from the realm of the four elements, may the five great mothers increase glory! To the three doors of the fortunate child, may the protector Amitāyus and the five families, obtain the seal of body, speech, and mind, and restore the diminished life force! Lotus, wheel, jewel, and, from the Vajra cross mudra, may you obtain the unchanging secret seal! Furthermore, offer clothes to stupas, ransom the lives of sentient beings and set them free, recite the dharani mantra of Amitayus, repair roads and bridges, etc., in short, strive for white virtuous deeds. From the offering and praise of the mandala by the master to the sequence of prayers and auspicious words, it will be accomplished by following the text. This is the way to extensively bestow the root empowerment, which is done for uncommon disciples. For common disciples, the common longevity empowerment is given, and if it is necessary to accumulate numbers, then this can be known from the teachings of Drukchen Kunkhyen Chokyi Nangwa. Here, the deathless, which is connected to the life force of those who are related, the Vajra Knot has been tied, having obtained supreme longevity, with the body of a spontaneously accomplished vidyadhara, as long as space exists, may you accomplish the benefit of others. Thus, in order to make the meaning clear, easy to carry, and easy to read, Pema Garwang Lodro Thaye's group compiled it in the Joyful Grove of Pal Devi Koti and placed it in the Great Treasury of Precious Treasures.
