It is known and accomplished as the profound instruction of the great teacher Padmasambhava, who is revered as the embodiment of the immortal accomplished vidyadhara. Among these, what is relevant now is that in the central region of snowy Tibet, in the upper Gzhos Tod Ti sGro assembly hall of the dakinis, the mandala of the Longsal Dakini Nyingthig (kLong gsal DA ki snying thig) was opened, and the extraordinary gatherings were matured and liberated. The empowerments and instructions were completely bestowed upon the great translator Vairotsana, and prayers were made to expand the activities of taming beings when the future time arrives. In the area of Serchu (gSer chu) in Mdo Smad (mDo smad) of Kham, it was hidden as a treasure at the Dmu rDo rock cliff, the gathering place of a million dakinis. When the time for the fruition of the aspiration and activity arrived, Padma Dechen Lingpa (Padma bDe chen gling pa), the emanation of the mind of the great translator Vairotsana, the great tertön free from disputes, unearthed it. From this, a hundred and eight Dharma teachings with thresholds and many without thresholds appeared, including the root practices and the branch practices. Each of these also has many categories. Here, the Vajra Longevity Practice section, which is necessary as a component for practicing the two stages, is presented. As stated in the text: 'Like me, Padmasambhava, although I have hidden many treasures of profound longevity practices, this is the essence of the essence, incomparable to others. Because of its profundity, it is secretly sealed on the Dmu rDo rock cliff.' Also, as stated in the secret practice without thresholds: 'Even if one falls into the mouth of the Lord of Death, Yama, one will surely be liberated by this.' The profound empowerment of the Vajra Knot of Longevity Practice, which is praised in this way, is connected through practices and so forth. To request the Dharma of entry, offer a mandala. With palms together, holding flowers, pray in the presence of the guru and the main deity of the mandala, who are inseparable, and repeat after me: 'Kye! Inseparability from the guru Amitayus, in order to liberate us from untimely death, today, please bestow upon us the immortal, primordial purity, immutable vajra life.' Recite three times. In order to purify your being, in the space in front, may the Three Jewels, Three Kayas, and Three Roots all abide in the form of the mandala of Amitayus.

In particular, with the belief of upholding and protecting the general and specific vows of the five families, please repeat these words. Vajra Acharya, please listen! From this time until enlightenment, I will not abandon the Three Jewels! In the vows of the Vajra family, the mudra of the vajra and bell, and the mind of enlightenment, should not be abandoned! The most excellent vow of the Ratna family, which is pleasing to the mind, always give the four kinds of generosity six times a day! The most pure vow of the Padma family, the three vows of outer, inner, and secret, explain the three vehicles and all the dharmas! In the vows of the Karma family, possessing all the vows, truly uphold them, and do the work of offering as much as possible. The mind of enlightenment is also unsurpassed, I will generate the supreme mind of enlightenment, for the benefit of all sentient beings, I will uphold all the vows, liberate those who have not been liberated, liberate those who have not been liberated, let those who have not breathed breathe, lead sentient beings to Nirvana, may I quickly attain unsurpassed enlightenment! With the belief that everything is Vajra Yoga, generate the mind of enlightenment, please repeat these words. Oṃ sarva yoga citta utpādayāmi.
