Guru Deva Dakiniye (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning)! This is called the Sadhana of Vidyadhara Longevity. I prostrate to the supreme, unchanging Wisdom Longevity Deity, Padma Thotreng Tsal. Having received the ultimate empowerment of outer, inner, and secret, perfectly guarding the root and branch samayas, desiring the supreme siddhi of unchanging longevity, I compose the secret sadhana ritual of Padma Thotreng. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! Before the auspicious time and date, in a pure, auspicious, delightful, and pleasing place, gather the necessary materials and supports for the sadhana. Offer tormas to the local deities, spirits, and field protectors. Level the ground and clean the mandala. Draw an eight-petaled lotus mandala, beautiful with outer rings and inner courtyards. With four doors and four steps, surrounded by lotuses. Possessing a vajra fire mountain and a ring of five lights. In the center of that, on a low seat with a lotus base, in a precious skull cup with auspicious characteristics, mix flour from various grains, medicine, milk, and alcohol. Surround it with a precious, radiant, eight-petaled lotus. Fill it with sun, moon, rays of light, and precious fruits. Adorn it with red silk, a longevity arrow with ornaments, a longevity turquoise, and a beautiful banner with a clear mirror. Beautiful outer and inner offerings, and a white curtain. Small drum, bell, cymbals, vajra, and khatvanga, etc., secret hand implements are prepared. Sit yourself on a comfortable seat, facing the direction of Oddiyana or an auspicious direction. This is the explanation of the preliminary stages. Samaya! Gya Gya Gya! I prostrate to the unchanging Longevity Deity. In order to uphold the profound, secret, unsurpassed doctrine of sadhana, take refuge, generate bodhicitta, accumulate merit, and make supplications. Command, bind the boundaries, open the door, and make mudra prostrations. Bestow vows, offer, and bless the offering substances. The thirteen preliminary practices, including confession. Do wrathful Guru Rinpoche offering, praise, and confession. Practice the art of wisdom to the deity, meditate on the generation and completion stages. Do offering and praise during the session breaks of prana and recitation. Accomplish the thirty-one main dharmas such as taking siddhis through the gate of Maha Anu Ati. Samaya. Gya Gya Gya. Hold the pride of generation and completion stages and entrust activities. Accumulate the supplies for the tsok and purify and bless with incense. Invite the tsok support, request to be seated, and prostrate. Offer the three stages of fulfillment and confession with elaboration. Increase the supplies for the tsok and do the exchange of offerings. Enjoy the tsok, extensively make aspirations, give the leftovers, command protection, and keep the samaya. Torma Zor, stabilize protection, torma suppression, eliminate permanence and annihilation. Dedicate and make aspirations, may auspiciousness increase. Although there are no sins or obscurations in the nature, confess temporary stains. Although self-awareness is unchanging in the three times, rejoice in the manifestation of self-display. Always abide as certain, request the wheel of Dharma to be turned by the power of awareness. Whatever appears is Dharma.
