The oath is confirmed by placing a rosary with a vajra on the crown of the head. Ho! Son of the lineage, from now on, I am the vajra master, look upon the glorious Heruka, do not despise me! Bestow the nectar of the oath water. Ho! This is the water of the vajra of the oath, protect the oath, Vajrasattva, may it truly abide in your heart, generate wisdom and lead the way. If you do not protect it, you will become a black yaksha, drinking heart blood and falling into hell. Therefore, keep the oath! Samaya Vaksha Si Hum (藏文：ས་མ་ཡ་བཀྴ་སི་ཧཱུྃ།，梵文天城体：समय वक्त्र सि हुं，梵文罗马拟音：samaya vakṣa si hūṃ，汉语字面意思：Oath, Mouth, Accomplish, Hum). Place the vajra in the heart. Hum! This is the most secret of secrets, the blessing of the supreme secret, do not speak of those who break the oath, nor to those who have not received empowerment, nor to those who do not have faith. Keep the sacred secret well, take the oath from your heart! Do not transgress from what has been commanded, with the intention of taking the vajra oath, repeat after this. Having a wrathful, fierce, and unbearable appearance, six hands, the three right hands holding a vajra, sword, and enemy's life force. From the three places, the body mudra, the speech syllables, and the mind's collection of emblems descend like rain, filling your body. Visualize the syllables of the three places dissolving, so that you may receive the blessings of body, speech, and mind. Below the essence, recite: JÑĀNA ABEŚAYA A ĀḤ (藏文，ज्ञाना वेशय अह आ，jnana avesaya ah ah，Wisdom, enter, ah ah), and play music and offer incense. Visualize the blessings of wisdom remaining firm until enlightenment is attained. Recite TIṢṬHA VAJRA (藏文，तिष्ठ वज्र，tistha vajra，Stay, Vajra), place the vajra and flower on the crown of the head, and make it firm. Perform the scattering of flowers ritual. HO! In this palace of Heruka, the great glorious ones truly reside. To examine your connection, offer the flower of wisdom to the deity, and you will see what connection you have. With the thought of offering the previously offered flower to the deity of the family, request to recite and cast it. HO! The assembly of Heruka deities, although they cannot be distinguished individually, yet manifest their individual wisdoms. Great glorious Heruka, assembly of glory, whichever great glorious one I am connected to, may they follow me. PUṢPE PRATĪCCHA HO (藏文，पुष्पे प्रतीच्छ हो，puspe praticcha ho，Flower, receive, ho) After reciting, cast it, and bestow a secret name. Visualize the flower as a symbol of empowerment, tied again on the crown of the head. HŪṂ! To the supreme deity with whom you have a connection from the past, offering the flower of wisdom, its blessing is inconceivable, self-awareness wisdom recognizes the deity, and the accomplishments of body, speech, and mind are attained. PUṢPE GṚHṆA IMAṂ SATTVA MAHĀBALA (藏文，पुष्पे गृह्ण इमं सत्त्वं महाबल，puspe grhna imam sattvam mahabala，Flower, accept, this, being, great power), place the flower on the crown of the head. Visualize the obscuration of ignorance being removed along with the blindfold. Heruka, glorious one, now strive to open your eyes, once opened, you will see everything, the eye of wisdom is unsurpassed. OṂ JÑĀNA CAKṢU PRAVEŚAYA PHAṬ (藏文，嗡，ज्ञाना चक्षु प्रवेशय फट，om jnana caksur pravesaya phat，Om, wisdom, eye, enter, phat), remove the covering with a knife. Urge to look at the mandala: HŪṂ! Sons of the lineage, listen well, even just seeing this glorious city of Heruka once can purify the obscurations accumulated over countless eons. Therefore, look well at this beautiful mandala, seeing it is truly amazing! HO! Sons of the lineage, listen and look well. Here, the painted, vase, and samadhi-emanated mandalas, indistinguishably manifesting the great glorious city, are merely symbolic examples. What is symbolized is the self-aware wisdom, spontaneously accomplished, Bhagavan Arrogant One.
