The Lamp of Jewels: A Text on the Meaning and Practical Application of the Great Accomplishment of the Eight Herukas, a Gathering of Sugatas. Dharma Shri. The Lamp of Jewels: A Text on the Meaning and Practical Application of the Great Accomplishment of the Eight Herukas, a Gathering of Sugatas. Dharma Shri. Herein lies the treatise entitled "The Lamp of Jewels: A Text on the Meaning and Practical Application of the Great Accomplishment of the Eight Herukas, a Gathering of Sugatas." Om Svasti Siddham (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思:Om, may there be well-being and accomplishment). I respectfully prostrate and take refuge in the Lama and the Bhagavan, the assembly of deities of the Gathering of Sugatas. Here, the essence of all Sutras and Tantras, the pinnacle of all vehicles, the meaning of the root Tantra of the Gathering of Sugatas, the four general explanatory Tantras, the ten necessary Tantras, and the five commentaries on the Bodhisattva teachings, which clearly explain the intention of the practice section. The eight vidyadharas who received the command, and especially the all-encompassing vidyadhara, the great teacher Padmasambhava, having realized the meaning, clearly explained the intention. He bestowed it upon the fortunate king and subjects, and concealed it as a profound treasure. This very treasure was revealed by the great treasure revealer Nyang Nyima Ozer, transmitted to the ears of the noble individuals, and practiced in their hearts. The essential instructions for the practice of the mandala of the Great Accomplishment of the Eight Herukas, a Gathering of Sugatas, are briefly shown in two parts: a general explanation of the aspects to be known, and a specific explanation of the practical instructions for the practice method. The first part also has two sections: identifying the deity as the basis of the object to be accomplished, and the aspects of the method of how to accomplish it. The first is that the practitioner who wishes to practice and accomplish the yidam deity must first rely on the three: scripture, reasoning, and oral instruction, cut off the imputations, and it is crucial to gain certainty about which deity is to be accomplished. Otherwise, like shooting an arrow without a definite target, it would be reduced to merely a means of accomplishment without an object to be accomplished. So, what is the deity to be accomplished? It is the nature of the mind of enlightenment, inseparable from the three: base, path, and fruit. In the section on the activity of miraculous deities in the five mind commentaries composed by Vajra Dharma, it is said: "What is called a deity is the mind of enlightenment; this is greatly praised in the Tantras." Thus, the door of the nature of reality

Even if they cannot be distinguished, if they are distinguished from the perspective of phenomenal terms, then, among them, the ground is the meaning of abiding, the path is the practice of yoga, and the fruit is the ultimate accomplishment of action. Thus, the ground for purifying defilements is the all-pervasive nature of reality, the essence of the Sugata, and the radiance of that, the light, combines with the defilements to be purified, the phenomena of samsara, and thus the aspect of the purifying path arises. The sequence of yogic practice, which becomes the antidote to purifying defilements, and by purifying the defilements to be purified, the qualities of the ground as it is are manifested, and the activity of compassion is непрерывно, and the effortless activity pervades and accomplishes, is the fruit. However, in reality, although the ground, path, and fruit are divided into three, the nature of reality, the mind of enlightenment, which is non-dual in ground and fruit, does not move elsewhere. Thus, in short, the meaning of what is called tantra is that the reality of things is the ground, there is no fruit other than the ground, and transcending the way of the fruit, where is the realization of the path? Therefore, what is called cause and effect, and path, is merely a designation. So it is said. Therefore, here, what is relevant at this time is the deity of the ground to be accomplished, which is the basis of purification that becomes the support for the path to purify defilements. Thus, other than the aggregates, elements, and sense bases, the self-nature of the deity is primordially unconditioned. Thus, the nature of mind itself is the mandala of deities, and all phenomena that appear and exist are the realm of the deity of self-nature purity, the play of the deity, the body of the deity, and likewise all other phenomena without exception are primordially the self-nature of the deity, therefore it is called the ground of the deity. Thus, that ground of purification is the all-pervasive, unbiased nature of reality, but due to the cause of association with adventitious defilements, the phenomena of samsara to be purified appear as the aspect of dualistic attachment and aversion. Therefore, the path of purification also takes the aspect of peace and wrath as the antidote to that, thereby eliminating the defilements to be purified. When the ground of purity is manifested, the fruit is obtained in accordance with the ground and path, and thus a name is established. Thus, by manifesting as the body of peace and wrath, attachment and aversion are completely eliminated, and the appearance of the body for the benefit of others is the supreme of that unfound fruit. This is called tantra by association, and the three, ground, path, and fruit, are inseparable.
