Mix the medicinal oil according to the instructions. A wise person should determine the taste as needed. Place it in a clean container, and after dispelling obstacles and purifying with a bath, visualize the lama as an emanation above. At the end of the offerings and praises, recite: MAHA AMRITA RA SA YA NA SARVA SIDDHI PHALA HUM HUM! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) By reciting this mantra with devotion, stimulate the lineage. From the heart, light radiates, illuminating the realms of samsara and nirvana. Gathering the essence and dissolving it, a great stream of nectar descends from the body. By dissolving into the substance, contemplate the accomplishment of the great elixir of immortality. The deities also dissolve into light and are absorbed into the substance. Rely on it without attachment at dusk and dawn. Two causes increase flesh and bones through medicine. Three conditions increase strength, essence, and radiance. Four oils balance the elements for longevity. Qualities beyond description arise naturally. Alternatively, pound bell metal into powder, wash it with snow water to remove stone toxins. Recite: OM THUD DE THUD DE MAHA THUD DE PHAT! (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning) Recite this mantra a thousand times for one 'srang' of powder. Mix and knead with nine 'phul' of cow's milk. Use Tagngu, the three family lineages, and the powerful fruit. Add cinnamon, long pepper, and haritaki. Each of the five essences should be half the amount of bell metal. Mix and knead into pellets the size of sheep dung. Roll them and place them in a skull with auspicious signs. In the skull cup above the wind and fire, the sea of nectar of non-dual samaya and wisdom, generate and recite in the center as before. If auspicious signs of realization and experience appear, abstain from food and rely on it daily. Combine the yoga of deities with the practice of prana. This is the supreme method for achieving the highest accomplishment. Abstaining from harmful foods and relying on this, the intermediate level achieves increased lifespan and wisdom. Those who eat one pellet each at dawn, even the lowest level, will become healthy and long-lived in old age. When gathering the essence of the lotus internally, visualize yourself as the Vajra born from the ocean. Contemplate a beautiful and pleasing maiden seated before you. On the crown of your head, visualize the lama as the father and mother, in the form of desire and vajra. Alas! The very essence of all Buddhas of the three times, to the venerable Guru, the Great Blissful One, I pray from the depths of my heart, please grant your blessings! May there be no obstacles on the profound path, and may the essence of the stable and moving ripen the coarse body into clarity. I pray that you grant the accomplishment of the immortal body of light! I pray with devotion and longing.
