The suffering of protecting one's face, the exhaustion of utensils, and the fear of death all exist. As it is said in the "Extensive Play Sutra": "A hundred diseases do not leave the body, diseases cling and suffering presses, beings are tormented, like a human hungry ghost." The suffering of death is also immeasurable, as it is said in the "King's Admonition Sutra": "Great King, similarly, pierced by the arrow of the Lord of Death, losing strength, without refuge, without help, without relatives, tormented by disease, mouth dry, face changing, hands and feet trembling, unable to work, saliva flowing, mucus and urine and vomit staining the body, emitting a piercing sound, abandoned by doctors, lying at the end of the bed, sinking in the torrent of samsara, terrified by the messengers of Yama, breath ceasing, mouth and nose gaping, abandoning this world, going to another world, lifting a great burden, entering great darkness, falling into a great abyss, carried away by a great ocean, blown by the wind of karma, wandering in a direction without a foothold, there is no property to be divided, saying 'Alas, father! Alas, mother! Alas, child!', at that time, Great King, apart from the Dharma, there is no other refuge, help, or relatives." The suffering of separation from loved ones is: when parents, children, and other cherished ones die, immeasurable suffering such as sadness, pain, wailing, and crying exists. The suffering of encountering unpleasant things is: when threatened by enemies, there are many sufferings such as fighting and beating. The latter two sufferings are easy to understand. Asuras, in addition to the same suffering as the gods, also have the suffering of arrogance, jealousy, and fighting. Therefore, it is said: "Asuras by nature are jealous of the glory of the gods, therefore their inner suffering is great." Desire realm gods also have the suffering of fighting with Asuras, and the suffering of desires not being satisfied, and the suffering of being degraded, and being cut off and separated, killed, expelled, death and falling, and experiencing similar suffering, as it is said: "When a son of the gods dies, five signs will appear: clothes become dirty, flowers wither,

Old rosaries will turn into stone, sweat will come from both armpits, the body will emit a foul odor, and one will dislike one's own seat. Thus it is said. Meditators, intoxicated by meditation and so on, experience immeasurable suffering in the lower realms. Therefore, this place of samsara is the nature of great suffering, like a burning house. The glorious protector Maitreya said: Sentient beings in hell are harmed by the fires of hell, pretas are harmed by hunger and thirst, animals are harmed by eating each other, humans are harmed by short lives, and gods are harmed by carelessness. In samsara, even on the tip of a needle, there is never any happiness. Thus it is said. This, I think, was also hidden as a treasure by the great vidyadhara Sangye Lingpa. It was immediately brought forth by the vidyadhara Rainbow Heart Essence from the left corner of the iron door of the Röhhom gorge. The common preliminary practices of the Great Perfection, the Very Profound, the Common Gathering of the Jewels. Vidyadhara Rainbow Heart Essence.
