I am about to embark (on practice). Therefore, I wish to practice this Completion Stage. So, how to meditate on this has five aspects. First, to practice the Vajra Recitation, the Completion Stage of Mantra. In the commentary, it says: First, visualize yourself as the deity, clearly generating the guru together with the deity on the crown of your head. In the "Condensed Meaning of the Stages of Meditation," it says: Sit comfortably on a comfortable seat, with a comfortable mind, and visualize either Hayagriva or any chosen deity, either with or without elaboration. If you prefer extreme non-elaboration, visualize it clearly, but there is no need to gain stability here, as this is the Generation Stage. Therefore, it is best to meditate in conjunction with the practice of Guru Sangdü (གསང་འདུས།). If not, during the session breaks of any deity such as the Eight Herukas, Vajrakilaya, or Hayagriva, visualize Guru Sangdü Vajrasattva, who is inseparable from the guru, on the crown of your head, endowed with the deity's yoga, or visualize any other form such as the Guru Outer Practice. Recite the guru's mantra, such as the Secret Practice Skull Garland Power (གསང་སྒྲུབ་ཐོད་ཕྲེང་རྩལ།) or the Outer Practice Vajra Guru (བཛྲ་གུ་རུ།), as appropriate. Furthermore, those of lower faculties can combine it with the vocalized meditation of the deity's yoga with elaboration. Those of intermediate faculties can practice the deity's pride during the session breaks without elaboration. Those of sharp faculties can instantly generate the awareness as the deity's form, like a fish leaping from water, and recite the mantra. Based on this, how to perform the Vajra Recitation of the Completion Stage? In the root text, it says: The Vajra Recitation is when the breath's movement is one's own wind. The three, inhaling, abiding, and exhaling, are visualized as the forms of three syllables (ཨོཾ་,ཨཱཿ,ཧཱུྃ). Focus diligently on the abiding in ཨཱཿ (Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Ah), without separating body, speech, and mind. This is called Vajra Recitation. Therefore, perform the Vajra Recitation in the natural state of the breath. When inhaling, visualize the breath entering as the syllable ཨོཾ་ (Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Om). When abiding, visualize the breath abiding in the central channel as the syllable ཨཱཿ (Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Ah). When exhaling, visualize the breath moving or exhaling as the syllable ཧཱུྃ་ (Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Hum), and hold the mind on this, contracting and pressing it inward for a long time. In the commentary, it says: Recite three, five, or ten times. Although it says this, one should recite many times, and especially focus on the abiding. In the "Complete Five Stages, Seat Completion," it says: Among these, prolonging the abiding is very important. In the root text, it says: Abiding in ཨཱཿ (Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese Meaning: Ah)
