It is necessary to understand from the oral instructions of the lineage. However, these mostly lie in practicing after understanding the general key points of secrecy. Second, regarding the arrangement of supports, there are two: constructing the mandala, and arranging the offerings. First, if practicing for a long time, it is best to lay down a painted mandala, so there is no need for ground rituals, etc., but in practice, most construct sand mandalas according to the method of the palace descending from the sky, as explicitly stated in the texts. In that case, offer a torma and golden drink to the owner of the ground. On the platform where the mandala will be constructed, sprinkle with a mixture of alcohol and the five amritas. Twist five threads together, and draw the five heroes and five grains on the five colored threads, arranging them in the center and the four directions. Purify with स्वाभाव (Tibetan: སྭཱ་བྷཱ་བ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वभाव, Sanskrit Romanization: svabhāva, nature). From emptiness, the five threads, transform into the nature of the five wisdoms. Myself as Hayagriva and the sow-faced mother. Three places (body, speech, mind) three syllables (Om Ah Hum) at the navel (Hrih). Space secret Vajra lotus (Hum Phet) as a sign. Brahma's hole (Tibetan: ཚངས་བུག, Sanskrit Devanagari: ब्रह्मरन्ध्र, Sanskrit Romanization: brahmarandhra, Brahma's hole) (Ham) above, there is a white bindu. Sixteen letters surround. Visualize like this, take the sky line at the eyebrow, the middle line at the heart, the ground line at the secret place, and then draw the eight major lines according to the ritual. Draw a circular center in the middle, outside of that draw a small portion of mustard, after that draw three portions, each with four petals, and an eight-cornered jewel, sixteen petals. Outside of that draw a large portion of the charnel ground, a small portion of the vajra fence, a large portion of the volcanic base. After that, if you can draw the doors completely, draw the four hanging curtains. The blessing of the colors is: Om Ah Hum, स्वाहा (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་ཨཱོཾ་སྭཱ་ཨཱཾཿཧཱ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , complete). The five colors transform into the five heroes and five grains. Hum. The five colors of sand, through purifying the five heroes and five grains, are blessed as the union of the five Buddha families, manifesting as jewels endowed with the five wisdoms. Recite the five grains, move the thumb and ring finger, and visualize becoming the nature of jewels. Central blue, mustard green, four petals are the directional colors, the eight-cornered jewel has a jewel on the blue top, the base is reddish-yellow, the sixteen petals draw other common beautiful colors, very concise.
