词义灌顶是，信受莲花生大士所说，请领会词义。内外之缘皆是错觉，故当知一切显现如云如雾。若生痛苦之念，则舍弃希冀与疑虑之险境，将未作之觉性安住于自性之中。若散乱之缘甚多，则收摄心于内，断绝一切取舍作为。任运自在地守护未被任何显现所染污之觉性。若因缘显现，以怀疑之心扰乱自相续，以致不知所措，觉性如牧童般迷茫，则于觉性自性之中向喇嘛祈请。不为随后生起之分别念所染污，此乃断除增益之精要心语。于所说之介绍之义，当实修善行之精髓。最后之行，即观想莲花生大士化为金色五股金刚，光芒四射，与秘密灌顶之标志，即发髻上五股金刚之形状无别，于头顶之上，不离上师之忆念而依止，或将自心融入上方之金刚，于无别之显现中，自性不成立，远离破立，法性胜义谛，遍布虚空之金刚者，若乐于忆念恩德而祈请圆满次第，则念诵： 咕噜 惹那 悉地 匝雅 纳摩 (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思)。于奇妙庄严之山顶，怙主持咒莲花生，以具足要诀方便智慧之表示，开示甚深密咒之精髓。如是祈请加持我等相续。于具足五处之虹光帐篷中，八万四千法门皆汇集，未以文字宣说之心语，于开示之顷刻间一时解脱。祈请加持老父之幻变。于持明者加持之修行室中，如预言般于末世降临，具足十八种大奇妙之相，具足享用圆满口耳传承之恩德，祈请圣子南嘉衮波加持。于舍弃我执之上师前，乃最初聚集之眷属之有缘者，乃盛装心滴教诲之法器。

The empowerment of words is, believing that it was bestowed by the Wisdom Holder Mahaguru, please understand the meaning of the words. All external and internal conditions are illusions, so know that all appearances are like clouds and mist. If thoughts of suffering arise, abandon the perilous path of hope and fear, and let the unmade awareness rest naturally in its own state. If there are many distracting conditions, draw your mind inward and abandon all actions of taking and leaving. Spontaneously maintain the awareness without letting it be defiled by whatever arises. If the mind is disturbed by doubt due to the appearance of conditions, and you don't know what to do, and awareness wanders like a shepherd, then pray to the Lama from within the natural state of awareness. That which is not defiled by the subsequent arising of thoughts is the essential heart-advice that cuts through all fabrications. In the meaning of the introduction that was spoken, one should truly engage in the essence of practice and virtuous deeds. The final activity is to visualize Guru Padmasambhava transforming into a golden five-pronged vajra, radiating light, inseparable from the symbol of secret empowerment, the five-pronged vajra on the topknot of his hair, and rely on it on the crown of your head, inseparable from the memory of the Lama, or dissolve your mind into the vajra above, and in the inseparable appearance, the nature is unestablished, free from destruction and creation, the ultimate truth of Dharmata, the all-pervading space-like vajra holder, if you are happy to pray for the completion stage, remembering the kindness, then recite: GURU RATNA SIDDHI DZAYA NAMA (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari, Sanskrit Romanization, Chinese literal meaning). On the summit of the wondrous and auspicious mountain, the protector, mantra-holder Padmasambhava, with the sign of possessing the key points, skillful means, and wisdom, revealed the essence of the profound secret mantra. In this way, please bless my lineage. In the rainbow light tent possessing the five places, all eighty-four thousand dharmas are gathered, the heart words not expressed in writing, are liberated all at once in the moment of the teaching. Please bless the skillful transformations of the old father. In the blessed practice chamber of the Vidyadhara, as prophesied, he will come at the end of time, possessing eighteen great and wondrous signs, possessing the kindness of enjoying the complete oral transmission, please bless the son Namgyal Gonpo. In front of the Lama who has abandoned grasping at self, is the fortunate one of the first gathering of disciples, the vessel for the heart-drop instructions.
