Having gathered the essence of nectar like a swarm of bees, visualize it seeping into the three life-sustaining syllables at the heart center and into the life-substances in front. Wave the arrow banner and recite "Hūṃ, Bhagavan Protector Amitāyus," etc., invoking longevity as it arises from the sādhana. Increase the life of the element of breath. Recite the intermediate verses. Holding the longevity torma, visualize the actual Longevity Spike and Amitāyus clearly placed on the crown of the head. From the vase in their hands, a stream of immortal wisdom nectar flows like a river, entering through the aperture of Brahmā, purifying all sickness, demonic influences, sins, and obscurations in general, and in particular, obstacles to life and unfavorable adverse conditions. Visualize your entire body being completely filled with the essence of nectar. Hūṃ, Bhagavan Protector, Wisdom Amitāyus, from the inexhaustible essence of the vase of life, bestow the nectar of life upon this fortunate one, and grant them an indestructible vajra life. Oṃ amāraṇi jīvantīye svāhā. Āyurjñāna abhiṣiñca hūṃ. Place the longevity vase on the crown of the head. While reciting the mantra, give longevity pills and longevity beer. Thus, having bestowed the longevity empowerment, all the essence of the body, filled with immortal nectar, seeps into the three life-sustaining syllables at the heart center, blazing with radiance and light. Attain the immortal life awareness holder. The sun and moon gau box are joined together, and the four crossed vajra horns below bind it immutably. Furthermore, visualize the five emblems and five syllables being placed in the five places, sealing the life so that it does not change and increases. Place the arrow banner crosswise on the crown of the head, and after reciting "The five elements and the five wisdoms," etc., according to the sādhana, scatter flowers and make it supremely stable with auspicious verses and the heart essence of dependent arising. Thus, having completed the sequence of blessings and empowerment, protect the general samayas of Vajrayana, and in particular, as a sign of the father's empowerment, hold and wear the statue and vajra. As a sign of the mother's empowerment, hold the mirror and the four-petaled kapāla. As a sign of the non-duality of father and mother, think of making the tenth-day offering without interruption, and repeat these. Recite "How the main deity," etc., and offer the maṇḍala.
