May the Sangwa Tratsum (གསང་བ་རྩ་གསུམ་, Three Roots of Secret) life deity assembly reside! By offering to the glorious and supreme lama, May I obtain the empowerment to fulfill the hopes for immortal life and inexhaustible food, wealth, etc.! To the spontaneously accomplished Tshewang Rigdzin, By offering this branch offering of empowerment, May all the essence of the three realms be, May the activity of subjugation be accomplished! To the spontaneously accomplished Tshewang Rigdzin, By offering this wrathful branch offering, May all enemies, obstacles, and misleading spirits, May the activity of cutting off be accomplished! To the spontaneously accomplished Tshewang Rigdzin, By offering this peaceful branch offering, May all diseases, evil spirits, sins, obscurations, and broken vows, May the activity of pacifying be accomplished! To the spontaneously accomplished Tshewang Rigdzin, By offering this increasing branch offering, May all life, teachings, and power, May the activity of increasing be accomplished! Then, take up the auspicious substances, symbols, and seven royal possessions in order. That is, by the Vajra Master: In the past, when the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni was offered Durva grass by the grass seller Tashi, and blessed as an auspicious substance, From that, here too, for the sake of the stability of the life of the glorious and holy lama or the owner of the offering, May it be auspicious with the substance of Durva grass! Durva grass increases life, Having perfectly accomplished the life of Vajrasattva, Pacifying all the diseases of afflictions, May that auspiciousness also increase life! In the past, when the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni was offered a white conch shell spiraling to the right by the lord of the gods, Indra, and blessed as an auspicious substance, Now, for the sake of the stability of the life of the glorious and holy lama, May it be auspicious with the substance of the white conch shell! The conch shell is the symbol of proclaiming the sounds of the Dharma, The ocean of wisdom is supremely pure, Unobstructed in the pure Dharma.

May this auspiciousness, which is now being enjoyed, also proclaim the Dharma sound. In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received a mirror from the goddess of form, Light-Bearing Mother, who blessed it as an auspicious substance. Through the power of that, may there be auspiciousness through the substance of the mirror for the sake of the long life of the glorious and venerable Lama. The mirror is a great ocean of wisdom; may it be purified into the very ocean of wisdom. May the auspiciousness of realizing the pure essence of wisdom bring auspiciousness here and now. In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received musk from the elephant Earth-Protector, who blessed it as an auspicious substance. Through the power of that, may there be auspiciousness through the substance of musk for the sake of the long life of the glorious and venerable Lama. Musk destroys the three poisons and is the medicine of illness. May the auspiciousness of realizing the supreme medicine, the nature of reality, and cutting off the continuum of afflictions, birth, and death, pacify the three poisons. In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received yogurt from two thousand milk cows offered by the village girl Well-Born, who blessed it as an auspicious substance. Through the power of that, may there be auspiciousness through the substance of yogurt for the sake of the long life of the glorious and venerable Lama. Yogurt is the essence of all; having obtained the pure essence, the supreme wisdom, and becoming the wealth of all qualities, may this auspiciousness pacify all illnesses. In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received red ochre from the earth goddess Firm Mother, who blessed it as an auspicious substance. Through the power of that, may there be auspiciousness through the substance of red ochre for the sake of the long life of the glorious and venerable Lama. Red ochre is the nature of red power; having gathered all phenomena, may the auspiciousness of obtaining the supreme Dharma kingship make your reign stable. In the past, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Shakyamuni received the bilva fruit from the god Brahma, who blessed it as an auspicious substance. Through the power of that, may there be auspiciousness through the substance of the bilva for the sake of the long life of the glorious and venerable Lama.
