To the Lama who delights in faith! To the great compassionate Avalokiteśvara in outward appearance! To the great Vajradhara in inner essence! To the supreme among the five hundred Panditas of India! To the Guru Jamyang Lama! To the all-knowing Lord of the Teachings! To the Vidyadhara, the master of mantras! To the wrathful treasure revealer, Dudjom! To the Guru Yeshe Gyalpo! To the realized one, self-awareness manifest! To the self-liberated from various delusions! To the detached yogi of bindus! To the revered one, the union of samsara and nirvana! To the qualified wisdom Dakini! To the self-liberated Kuntuzangpo! To the powerful father, the Vajra who subdues! I take refuge in the root Guru, the kind one! I take refuge in the lineage Guru, the blessed one! To the guiding Guru, the compassionate one! To the protecting Guru, the powerful one! To the Guru from whom blessings arise! To the Guru who is the essence of the three Kayas! To the Yidam deity who grants accomplishments! To the assembly of the great bliss wheel! I take refuge in the Dakini who dispels obstacles! To the assembly of the five classes of Dakinis of the three places! To the Buddha who has perfected the two benefits! To the Sugata, the master of the four Kayas! To the holy Dharma, inseparable from the two truths! To the meditation of the union of generation and completion stages! To the Sangha, possessing both knowledge and liberation! To the assembly of heroes, heroines, and wrathful deities! To the three: base, path, and fruit! To the holy Dharma, the union of appearance and emptiness! To the three: view, meditation, and conduct! To the holy Dharma, the inseparability of clarity and emptiness! To the three: channels, winds, and bindus! To the holy Dharma, the union of bliss and emptiness! To the Dakini of the land of Oddiyana! To the revered Vajrayogini! To the Dakini of the land of India! To the goddess Mandarava! To the Dakini of central Tibet! The two wisdom Dakinis, Yeshe Tsogyal! To the Dakinis of the twenty-four great lands! To the Dakinis of the thirty-two places! To the Dakinis of the eight great charnel grounds! I take refuge in the assembly of heroes and yoginis! I pray to the incarnate form of Oddiyana! Bless the assembly of gods and Dakinis! Remove obstacles, Dharma protectors and non-humans! Bestow empowerment and blessings on the devoted child! Therefore, please bless all sentient beings, as vast as the sky, to realize the profound path of the Guru; please bless that faith and devotion never cease; please bless that whatever is done is seen as good; please bless that whatever is said is taken as truth; please bless to dispel ignorance and delusion; please bless to realize the union of Mahamudra; please bless that the four bodies manifest; please bless to attain accomplishment in this life. Recite three times. Visualize the refuge dissolving into oneself. Fifth, the boundary: With the pride of the deity, recite: Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ)! Fortunate yogis, male and female, In this practice of the profound Guru's blessing, Obstacles and adverse conditions of weak faith and devotion, Are bounded by the power of the Guru's blessing! Bounded by the power of the Yidam's blessing! Bounded by the power of the Dakini's blessing! Bounded by the power of the Three Roots' blessing! Guru, Yidam, Dakini, make the boundary!
