In the center of the empty expanse of light's nature, visualize the Three Roots and the four chakras, and then expel the impure air. From the essence of the khaṭvāṃga—mandāra in the left hand, arise the form of great bliss, red and yellow in color. Enter through your own nostrils. Touching the form of the tummo A (ཨ,a,seed syllable) at the navel chakra, the fire blazes. As the flames grow larger, focus on the bliss induced by the melting of the haṃ (ཧཾ,haṃ,seed syllable) at the crown chakra, and combined with visualization, hold the kumbhaka as much as possible. Second, the signless is: As the scripture says, "Settle awareness in non-grasping," therefore, settle the mind in the state of luminous Great Perfection, the union of awareness and emptiness, free from all elaborations of the three times—past, present, and future. Third, the subsequent activities: dissolving the deity into light, and the yoga of rising from that. First, at the end of the session, all appearances and existences dissolve into light and merge into the palace. Then, it dissolves into oneself. Oneself dissolves into the wisdom being. The wisdom being dissolves into the heart-essence. The heart-essence dissolves into the bindu. The bindu dissolves into the extremely subtle three-curved nāda. Finally, the nāda also disappears like lightning in the sky, dissolving into the unborn state. Thus, mix the emptiness newly created by the mind with the great emptiness of one's own primordial mind, which is free from arising, ceasing, and abiding, and settle in it. When rising from the session, like a bubble bursting from water, one's own being arises from the realm of union as the wheel of the mandala, and all appearances, sounds, and thoughts are viewed as the play of the deity, mantra, and wisdom. Then, perform the dedication, aspiration, and auspicious prayers. By striving in this way, one will surely quickly attain the omniscient wisdom. Here it is said: The form of the profound treasure, the first of the chain of stars that reveal treasures, again appears at the end of time in the ocean of the mind of the supreme guide. Through that wondrous dependent arising, the power and glory of the teachings and beings, like summoning the golden age again, reside in the spring of the fortunate ones. Thus, this essential compilation of profound instructions for practicing the profound and secret Three Roots in one was also personally bestowed as pith instructions by the supreme Vajradhara himself, and after receiving permission to make a detailed outline and write it down, I, fortunate to be nourished by the nectar of his words,
