From beginningless lifetimes until taking this present body, the body has committed sins and engaged in evil conduct. The mouth has spoken harsh words, idle chatter, and malicious speech. The mind has harbored wrong thoughts and mistaken ideas, etc. The faults committed under the influence of desire, anger, and ignorance, I ask forgiveness from the assembled deities. Although the wisdom deities have no conceptual thoughts, the gods and spirits belonging to their retinue, as soon as they see the faults of humans, create obstacles. Whatever errors and transgressions I have committed, I confess them all.
