我们成为善逝慈悲者的所化，具有安住佛刹之善缘者，对于调伏者导师之种姓不杂乱，通达法轮之义，通达法轮之出处，不为他者所动摇，以忆念无量恩德之心造作，随行其事业与言教，成为贤善之士，受到极大的赞扬，并为天人世间所敬仰，仅凭听闻，以及听闻后生起欢喜与信心，就能获得自他之大利益。如是宣说福德之功德。此地未被俗事所染污，是圣者之语。我，释迦之子，具功德之沙门，也适合于此。为了使能仁之教法得以彰显，将简述其事业之方式与次第。那是何者呢？首先，发起菩提心，以大悲心摄持此刹土之事业为一；其次，以难行之苦行，真实成办能仁之语藏之事业为二；最后，证得圆满菩提，成就圆满果报之事业为三。首先，发起菩提心之事业有二：从一切方面完全显现之发心为一，成为上师之殊胜者所发之心为二。完全显现者也有二：从律藏中所显现者，以及从经藏中所显现者，此二者。成为上师之殊胜者有五义：何时发心为一，如何受生为二，于何导师前为三，如何发心为四，以发心如何殊胜为五。其次，真实成办能仁语藏之事业有七：以无私无尽之布施成办之事业为一，以清净梵行戒律成办之事业为二，寂静调柔之

We have become the disciples of the compassionate Sugata, and those who possess the good fortune to reside in the Buddha-field will ensure that the lineage of the Tamer-Teacher is not mixed up, that they understand the meaning of the turning of the wheel of Dharma, that they understand the source of the turning of the wheel of Dharma, and that they are not swayed by others. They will create with a mind that remembers immeasurable kindness, and they will follow in his footsteps of deeds and teachings. Those who become virtuous and wise will be greatly praised and revered by the world, including the gods. By merely hearing, and by generating joy and faith after hearing, one will obtain great benefits for oneself and others. Thus, the merits of virtue are proclaimed. This place is not defiled by mundane affairs, and it is the speech of the noble ones. I, the son of Shakya, the virtuous Shramana, am also suitable for this. In order to make the teachings of the Able One clear, I will briefly describe the manner and order of his deeds. What are they? First, the deed of generating the mind of enlightenment and holding this realm with great compassion is one; second, the deed of truly accomplishing the words of the Able One through great hardships is two; and finally, the deed of attaining complete enlightenment and perfecting the complete fruition is three. First, the deed of generating the mind of enlightenment has two aspects: the generation of the mind that appears completely from all aspects is one, and the mind generated by the supreme one who has become the teacher is two. There are also two aspects of complete appearance: how it appears from the Vinaya Pitaka, and how it appears from the Sutra Pitaka. There are five meanings to the supreme one who has become the teacher: when the mind was generated is one, how the body was taken is two, before which teacher is three, how the mind was generated is four, and how it is distinguished by the generation of the mind is five.
