With the body, speech, and mind of the Great Sage, may your activities be like the moon, a vessel filled with the benefit and happiness of beings. I respectfully prostrate and take refuge in the precious one who possesses pure qualities. Here, the precious lord of the three realms, Dpal Phagmo Drupa, attained Buddhahood in the nature of the Dharmakaya, the essence of purity. The result of perfecting the two accumulations, the activities of body, speech, and mind, how he acted and how he appeared, all of that is solely for the purpose of enabling us, the sentient beings to be tamed, to have happiness, to be free from suffering, and to attain the state of perfect Buddhahood. Therefore, we should follow his example. Thus, I have heard and seen a little at one time that the teachings of the Great Sage, the compassionate one, who appeared in the Jambudvipa of the southern continent, the middle of the four continents, the center of this great trichiliocosm, were prophesied to flourish in this snowy land of the northern direction. The ones who make the teachings flourish are the king, ministers, Bodhisattvas, or all the virtuous spiritual friends. However, in the kingdom of the region, the lineage is hidden, the black people have thick necks, sharp teeth and thick jaws, big faces and skillful deeds, the promised deeds are accomplished, and the actions and achievements are great. In that place where it is difficult to distinguish between good and bad, considering such beings to be tamed, in the essence of the rich mountains of the snowy land, 'bri dam pa chos kyis phyug pa, like the base of Serkya, in the valley of Rme-mdor, in the tiger-faced Sabkhang of Rme-shong. In general, the lineage is perfect, but the teachings of the Great Sage do not focus on lineage or clan. Considering this, he was born as the son of father 'phan thog a thar and mother khu 'dzu a lcam. From a young age, he possessed clairvoyance, but his mother thought he was young and squeezed water in front of him. Considering that he did not know the shame of mother and son, he was ashamed in his heart and said that because his mother's land was impure, his clairvoyance would be reduced for seven days. Lama

Rinpoche himself said: My father was a very bad person, fond of sin, indulging in evil deeds, a bad person. It is said that I was born as the son of such a person. Moreover, my parents were very poor and their lives were not pure. Just as a lotus does not get wet by water, at the age of nine, as an emanation of the Holy Pratyekabuddha, I renounced from Tsultrim, the son of Khenpo Yanthub, and was given the name Dorje Gyalpo. In the place of the Khenpo there was a short wall, and when the Khenpo left, the protector Yeshe had already left, and said, "Afflictions rise up," and draped his robe over the short wall and left. When the Khenpo came, the protector Yeshe also came, and said, "Afflictions bow down," and put on his clothes, covered himself with a shawl, and sat in the lotus position. It is said that I said that from that time on I recognized what to abandon and what to counteract. The place of the Khenpo is called Resho Jyakyi Lhakhang. From there, five days' journey to the south, there is a place of the Khenpo called Yikhu Yor. The Khenpo came from there, and the Sugata also came out from behind the Khenpo and stayed there. He served the Khenpo, grinding tsampa and fetching water. In the Khenpo's residence, there was a backrest for the Khenpo, and a skilled artist painted a picture, and the Sugata said, "Paint half of me and half of yourself." Then he put a curtain in between and said, "You don't look at my picture, and I don't look at your picture." When it was finished, it looked like a photograph had been taken. Although no one urged him to study, when studying letters, he would wet the textbook on the wall where the Khenpo ground tsampa and study, or he would take it in his hand while fetching water and study. The Khenpo had a field for grinding tsampa, and he carried stones on his back and piled them on one side, making a pile about the size of a tent. Some practitioners who came from U-Tsang prostrated and circumambulated it. The patrons took a stone from the leftover yogurt and leftover beer and blessed it, and it is said that it was beneficial. Then there was Burong Gya.
