Collection of Teachings of Lipe Rogyi RR2 - Biography of Bhagavan Lipe Rogyi Homage to the Guru and Manjushri! Destroying the forces of opponents like a rain of arrows, endowed with the glory of explanation, debate, and composition, cutting through the darkness of various doctrines, I bow with my head to the feet of the wise Bhagavan. Awakening the power of habituation from life to life, relying on many wise and learned individuals, I will briefly describe the methods of learning and learning well the scriptures and instructions. Our guide, with the fragrance of the three trainings, dispels the impurities of misdeeds, transcends the ocean of self and other doctrines, and becomes the crown jewel of wise individuals. Blessed by the deity of commitment, free from all rivals, the very one known in all directions as Bhagavan Rig Ral, the Sword of Logic. He is near the northern part of Jambudvipa (the world), in the center of the land of snows. King Bodhisattva and others, and the emanations of Bodhisattvas, from the monkey and the rock demon, all Tibetans first arose, and it is the place where the Holy Dharma began. Abundant in grains, possessing water with eight qualities, and lush with trees and forests, it captivates the mind with just a glance. All beings abide in noble conduct, and countless Sugata bodies naturally appear, dwelling in a place surpassing excellence with auspiciousness, a place that benefits many beings—Yarlung. Specifically, Putang Jangpasar, the father was the patron Khorlo Bum, and the mother was the Yogini Gyen. The father was the chief of the region and wealthy. The patron Khadro, the brother of the father, consecrated a single-faced Avalokiteshvara statue, and doubting the consecration, invited Panchen Shakya Shri, who did not go to his house but went to the house of the patron Khorlo Bum and stayed for two days, prophesying, 'In the future, you will have a virtuous son who will benefit the teachings.' After that, there were five sons: the eldest, Naljor Bum, as well as Zungdar, Sonamdar, Bhumdenpa, and Geshe Shermon. Among them, Bhumdenpa naturally refrained from negativity from an early age, engaged in activities such as teaching and listening, and only spoke of Dharma and holy individuals, so he was called 'Yontsun'. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
