Therefore, considering in a veiled manner is because of considering the three self-natures, in order to show that all phenomena are without self-nature, and so on. Considering antidotes in a veiled manner is speaking for the purpose of subduing the faults of those to be tamed. As it is said: "Disparaging the Buddha's teachings, Slightly lazy and content, Arrogant, acting with desire, Regret and uncertain turning back, Are the obscurations of sentient beings, For their antidote, the supreme vehicle is taught." As it is said, examples of those are as shown in the four intentions. Transforming in a veiled manner is for profound expressions. As it is said: "Knowing meaning in the meaningless." And so on, as it will be explained. What is the difference between intention and veiled intention? Intention is merely what is kept in mind, and it does not acknowledge reliance on making others understand. Veiled intention is said to rely on making others understand, and it will be explained in the commentary. Sixth, if explaining the ground of Samadhi on Dharma, how should one skillfully comprehend it? Although it is five, it should be understood from the perspective of the benefits of Shamatha, the benefits of Vipassana, and the benefits of both. The first is two: the extremely cultivated habit that differentiates each moment, because it continuously pervades the body, all places of bad rebirth are destroyed. And, all the teachings of the doctrine flow into Suchness, believing it to be of one taste, abiding in equality, being separated from the various perceptions of the meaning of the aggregates and so on, thereby obtaining joy that surpasses the joy of the Sutras and so on. The second is also two: how the extremely distinguished Dharma stream is uninterrupted, not spoken, but only through the gateway of individual mindfulness, the light of wisdom for the Sutras and so on is completely uninterrupted in all directions, knowing immeasurably and truly, and for it, the completely pure aspect of the transformation of the basis is in accordance, or the non-conceptual signs that have become a precursor universally arise. The third is: the Dharmakaya, abandoning the obscuration of knowable objects, encompassed by the transformation of the basis, to be completely perfected on the tenth ground, in order to completely accomplish it on the ground of the Tathagata.

Just as a swarm gathers, it completely grasps the cause by generating habits of the same kind of cause that is even more superior. Seventh, if both the two pitakas, the Great and Small Vehicles, are equally the same kind of cause for the Dharmakaya, why is it that the profound and vast Dharma is worthy of being offered with incense and the like, but not the Dharma of the Hearers? Because the profound and vast Dharma is the basis of benefit and happiness for all sentient beings, it is of great significance, and it is the place where unsurpassed and immeasurable merit is generated. In the Madhyantavibhaga, it is also said: "Because of the difference, because of the inexhaustibility, because of the unceasing benefit to others." This is the explanation of the third chapter of the Compendium, the Dharma Teaching Compendium, from the extensive commentary on the Abhidharmasamuccaya, The Ocean of Good Explanations. The third chapter of the Compendium, the Determination of the Aspects of Dharma.
