Regarding the conceptualization of imputation: Is illusion also dependent on others, and is dependent arising also something else? Thus it is said. The second is, regarding the conceptualization of imputation to the pure imputation of the northern direction, etc.: Are the dharmas of enlightenment also something else, and is illusion also something else? Thus it is said. Regarding the conceptualization on the path of seeing the nature of the three doors of liberation: Is emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness also something else, and is illusion also something else? Thus it is said. Regarding the conceptualization of imputation to the path of meditating on the nature of formless concentration: Is illusion also something else, and is concentration and formless attainment also something else? Thus it is said. Regarding the conceptualization of imputation to the path of the special nature of all emptiness: Is illusion also something else, and is all emptiness also something else? Thus it is said. Regarding the conceptualization of imputation to the noble person on the path of no more learning, such as the ten powers, etc., the grasping that is manifestly attached to either refutation or establishment, the self-nature of conceptualization: Are the ten powers of the Thus-Gone One and the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha also something else, and is illusion also something else? Thus it is said. The third is, the conceptualizations of the apprehended and the apprehender as described above, and the four that correspond to the divisions that distinguish warmth, etc., are distinguished according to their number, and possess the basis and the characteristics. The third, the comprehensive, has three parts, the first of which is: It is unreasonable to teach the comprehensive with intermediate verses at the beginning of conceptualization, because the comprehensive has already been taught in the summary. If you ask, the comprehensive has already been taught in the summary in order to be in accordance with the application of the root verses. And here, it is explained at the end in order to show that by the power of the comprehensive, the objects, aspects, and causes as described, together with the four conceptualizations of the apprehended and the apprehender, will become special characteristics. If the comprehensive is explained at the end in accordance with the summary, then in the summary, conceptualization is shown to be included within the basis of distinction, but since it is not covered by the words that show the distinguishing characteristic, there will be doubt that it is not a distinguishing characteristic. And in the detailed explanation, the previously explained comprehensive is explained as being included within the distinguishing characteristic, so it will become a distinguishing characteristic that is understood.

I (the author) stated at the end of all the qualities of the guru that becoming special with an object possessing all three aspects and with conceptual attention is also due to the power of the guru. This is to understand that. Moreover, the former is a figure of speech of opposition, and the latter is that during the stage of application, the object and conceptual attention are the implied meaning, so it is not only expressed indirectly, but also said to be the guru. Secondly, according to the root, there are two types like the noble ones: the inner skillful means and the outer spiritual friend as guru. The first is that never being separated from the attention of omniscience, not being afraid or shrinking back in the mind towards the meaning of profound emptiness, etc., is the nature of skillful means. The special feature is that it abandons the attention of hearers and solitary realizers and the clinging to reality, etc., which are not in accordance with skillful means. The sutra says: 'Good son, when a Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, even if he separately observes that the form of the mind corresponding to omniscience is impermanent, he will not cling to it.' It also says: 'Good son, when a Bodhisattva practices the Perfection of Wisdom, because he is separated from the attention corresponding to omniscience, he cultivates and focuses on the Perfection of Wisdom.' The second is that, according to the capacity of those to be tamed, unerringly explaining the methods of causing all phenomena to enter into the wisdom of selflessness and dedicating the roots of virtue to omniscience, etc., is its nature. Its special feature is that the spiritual friend abandons the bad friends who cause disciples to abandon the Great Vehicle path and scriptures, etc. The sutra says: 'Good son, furthermore, the spiritual friend of a Bodhisattva teaches the Dharma in a way that does not cling to the impermanence of form, and does not allow all the roots of virtue to be dedicated to the Hearers and Solitary Realizers without being grasped by omniscience.' etc., and it also says: 'The bad friend of a Bodhisattva will cause one to be separated from the Perfection of Wisdom.' These two, skillful means and spiritual friend, are the gurus who protect Bodhisattvas from the extremes of samsara and nirvana in all circumstances. Thirdly, the explanation is that possessing the favorable conditions for making activities completely pure—wisdom and special compassion—and being separated from the unfavorable conditions—the aspects in accordance with the six perfections—is the guru of a Bodhisattva on the path of application, because his virtue
