As it is said, "not separated from generosity, not separated from diligence, not separated from meditation, not separated from wisdom, not separated from skillful means," etc., when a yogi arises from meditative equipoise, although all these dharmas have no essence whatsoever in ultimate reality, as long as the flow of discursive thoughts has not ceased, since it demonstrates the connection between actions and their results, it remains only as it is said. Therefore, in order for all sentient beings to realize such a nature of reality, as a means to attain non-abiding nirvana, one should train in the union of the two accumulations of merit and wisdom, thinking in this way. And one should train in this way: the yogi, without wavering from the samadhi in which one does not conceptualize anything about any dharma, or from the state in which the mind is not distracted by ordinary discursive thoughts and the activity of remembering emptiness is not forgotten, should be extremely diligent in activities of body and speech such as giving and keeping vows, and should also be supported by vast dedications and aspirations. Even when engaging in ordinary activities of body and speech such as walking, standing, and sleeping, one should be supported by non-conceptual wisdom. A yogi who practices in this way, although temporarily dwelling in samsara, is not stained by the faults of samsara, just as a lotus arises from mud, and will easily enter the city of non-abiding nirvana in the end. In this context, there is no distinction between changing places, etc., the distance of mindfulness, etc., whatever arises is relaxed, effortless meditation, whatever is done leaves no trace, ordinary self-liberation, through these six ways, the samadhi of union is enhanced. The instructions are not written down, as it is said: In the Hundred Verses: Even the name of this dharma causes fear in those who are not suitable vessels. Who is it that is called powerful, who does not cause fear in others? As it is said, merely hearing the name causes fear in those of little merit, what need is there to mention seeing its meaning? Therefore, it should be taught to those who seek meaning and have faith. By the virtue of this effort, may all limitless beings, after the thick darkness of eternalism and nihilism has been dispelled by the rays of correct view, enter the path of the Middle Way, free from extremes! Bodhicitta.
