Since things arise from the aggregation of causes and conditions, they lack the nature of aggregation. And it itself is empty of its own nature, which is the emptiness of the nature of non-things. The sixteen emptinesses along with the extensive explanation have been discussed. Now, the four condensed emptinesses will be spoken of, like this: The sound of "thing," in brief, refers to the five aggregates. Whatever emptiness they are emptied of by it, that is said to be the emptiness of things. The sound of "thing" refers to the five aggregates, and whatever emptiness they are emptied of by it is called the emptiness of things. In brief, "non-thing" refers to unconditioned dharmas. The emptiness of that by non-thing is the emptiness of non-thing. Non-thing refers to unconditioned things such as space and nirvana, and the emptiness of those by their own nature is the emptiness of non-thing. Self-naturelessness is the emptiness called "self-nature." Like this, because self-nature is not made, it is called self-nature. The self-nature of dharmas is not made by shravakas and so on, so it is called self-nature, and that self-nature without nature is called self-nature emptiness. Buddhas, whether they appear or not, in reality, the emptiness of all things is proclaimed as other-thing. Ultimate reality and suchness, that is the emptiness of other-thing. Buddhas, whether they appear or not, the emptiness of things that abide as they are, because it is realized by excellent wisdom, is proclaimed as other-thing. Or because it transcends samsara, it is called other-thing, which is ultimate reality and suchness, their being devoid of self-nature is the emptiness of other-thing. From the way of the Perfection of Wisdom, those are proclaimed in that way. From the Sutra of the Perfection of Wisdom, the sixteen emptinesses along with the extensive explanation and the four condensed emptinesses, all those are proclaimed in the way described above. Showing the characteristics of forms and other dharmas.
