Similarly, it is the same for axles and so on. Therefore, the shape of the individual parts is not itself a chariot. If you think that the difference in shape of the collection of parts such as spokes is a chariot, then that is also unreasonable, as it is said: Because your collection has nothing, that shape is not of the collection of parts, for that which is nothing, what is relied upon, how can it become a shape here? If it is said that the collection becomes slightly real, then it can be established as the shape that depends on it. According to your view, the collection is not established as anything in reality, so the shape of the chariot is not merely dependent on the collection of parts. How can it be established as a shape here for the collection that is nothing? Because establishment is only accepted as dependent on real things. If, even if it becomes unreal, it can become an unreal shape by relying on the collection, then, how do you think about this, just like this: relying on the unreal cause, the appearance of the result, having the nature of unreal, know that everything will arise. How do you establish an unreal shape by relying on an unreal collection, similarly, relying on unreal causes such as ignorance and seeds, such as actions and sprouts, know that all the appearances of the result having the nature of unreal will arise. Even if you make hundreds of thousands of efforts, what is the use of clinging to an object like the shadow of a wild animal whose meat you cannot eat? This is also unreasonable to call the consciousness of a pot for those such as form that dwell in such a way. Using the example of a chariot, it is also unreasonable to say that for those such as form, etc., the parts are arranged and established in such a way that they become the consciousness of a pot, etc., because for those, there is also the same analysis of the form of a chariot. Furthermore, because there is no birth, form, etc., are also unreasonable. Therefore, those shapes are also unreasonable. How things have no birth, as has already been said, so, because there is no birth, those such as form are also not self-existent, therefore, that is also not the reason for establishing them as pots, etc.

Regarding "class": The differences in shapes, such as those of pots, do not belong to "class" either. If, as stated above, you analyze using the sevenfold analysis, and if the chariot does not exist, then because the chariot does not exist, the designation that relies on the chariot would be interrupted. If you say that chariots and the like do exist because we see designations like "buy a chariot," "rent a chariot," "use (carry) a chariot," etc., then the fault of the chariot's designation being interrupted would fall on you alone. This is because, when analyzed in the manner described above, the entity of the chariot is not established as truly existent, and you also assert that the designation of the chariot has a true meaning. We do not have this fault, as it is said: This, in ultimate and conventional truth, Is not established by sevenfold analysis, But without analysis, merely in the world, It is designated relying on its own parts. If we search for the chariot using the sevenfold analysis as described above, it is not established in either ultimate or conventional truth. However, without such analysis, merely in the world, relying on its own parts, such as the axle and wheels, the designation of "buy a chariot," etc., is merely applied. In this context, not only is the designation of the chariot established through worldly convention, but also any distinctions in its name should be acknowledged through worldly convention without analysis. To illustrate this, it is said: The chariot itself is that which has parts and is a composite, It is also the agent and the recipient, Because it is established in the world, one should not deny The conventional truth of worldly convention. The chariot itself, in terms of designation, is that which has parts in relation to its own limbs such as the axle; it is also a composite in relation to its parts such as the axle; it is also the agent in relation to the act of taking the axle, etc., and taking things; and it is also the recipient in relation to its own vicinity. Therefore, for one's own school, whatever merely has a collection of parts but completely lacks that which has parts; merely has parts but lacks a composite; merely has action but lacks an agent; and the taker
