Because it is not. As it is also said in the treatises: "Self-nature is uncreated, and does not depend on others." As it is said. That self-nature is also the realm of the Buddha, emptiness is real, because the self-nature of all dharmas is uncreated, is directly realized and understood, therefore it is called Buddha. Thus, conventional dependent origination is dependent on cause and condition, therefore it is other-powered. Self-nature, reality, and the nature of non-creation, for conventional dependent origination are the completely imputed, and for emptiness, the ultimate truth, is the perfectly established nature, it should be understood. The Mind-Only practitioners believe that the consciousness devoid of meaning, the non-real completely imputed, is other-powered, and the apprehended and the apprehender are completely imputed. That other-powered is originally empty by the completely imputed is the perfectly established, although they think so, but in the world, there is no other other-powered other than the well-known apprehender and apprehended, therefore their saying of the three natures is also unreasonable. In the sutras, it is said that the completely imputed does not exist, but the other-powered exists, the meaning is that the other-powered dependent origination exists in name, and the proponents of self and other schools completely impute this dependent origination as the true self-nature, which is not established even in name. Although the Mind-Only practitioners explain that the other-powered is substantially established, and the completely imputed exists in name, but does not exist in reality. But the other-powered substantially established has been previously refuted, and the apprehended and apprehender that they consider to be completely imputed, although they exist in name, but because they are dependent origination, they are other-powered, not completely imputed. To completely impute this dependent origination as the uncreated self-nature, this does not exist even in name. Also, in the sutras, it is said that the completely imputed is the characteristic of no self-nature, the other-powered is the arising of no self-nature, and the perfectly established is the ultimate no self-nature, the meaning is very consistent with the three natures of the Madhyamaka school. Because the completely imputed, like the rabbit's horn in name, is not established by its own characteristics. The other-powered is like a magic

Likewise, by its own nature, there is no birth, because it depends on other causes and conditions. What is completely established is also the nature of emptiness even in name, so it is also without self-nature. Because it is not deceptive, it is also the ultimate truth. According to the view of the Vijnanavada, birth by the power of others is not without self-nature, because in the ultimate truth it is promised to be born from others. Having explained the birth and cessation from others, along with the accompanying faults, now we will explain the refutation of birth from both. There are also two parts to this: the actual refutation and the conclusion. The first part is: The naked ascetics say that external and internal things are born from both self and other. For example, when it is thought that a pot comes from a lump of clay, a stick, a wheel, and a potter, etc., because the clay and the pot are not other, it is also born from its own nature. Because the potter and the wheel, etc., are other than the pot, it is also born from others. Similarly, internal things are also born from both self and other. Because Maitreya exists only as the nature of life in other lives, therefore he takes this birth, so it is born from self, because Maitreya and life are not other. Because it is born from things that have become other, such as parents, dharma and non-dharma, defilements, etc., therefore it is born from others. Therefore, when birth from self and birth from others are refuted, it does not harm us, because we have not promised that it is born only from self or only from others. Answer: That is also not right. Just like this: Birth from both is also not reasonable, because the faults that have already been said will descend. Birth from both self and other is also not reasonable, because the faults that have already been said in both aspects will also descend here. Because the pot and Maitreya exist in the nature of clay and life, therefore it is not birth, and if they arise from there, there will be no merit. The faults, etc., have already been said. Because those potters, wheels, sticks, etc., and dharma and non-dharma

It is not born from something else that has transformed. If something else arises dependent on something else, then thick darkness would also arise from a flame. Because these faults have already been explained. Secondly, for the sake of concluding, this is not reasonable even in the world itself. Because arising and accomplishment are impossible from each individual thing. Explanation of the intention of the Mind-Only school.
