It is merely echoing, and should not be considered the true intention of the Tathagata. Therefore, to say that these four schools all conform to the Buddha's intention is not the assertion of any of the schools, and it is contrary to reason, which is extremely unreasonable. Then, which of these four schools is the true intention of the Sugata? Only the school of the Holy Nagarjuna is the infallible embodiment of the Tathagata's intention. Because all the Dharma spoken by the Tathagata is based on the two truths. Apart from the school of the Holy Nagarjuna, no other school can truly establish the two truths. Therefore, it is said here: Apart from the path of the Holy Nagarjuna's feet, there is no method of pacification for outsiders. Because what they consider to be the conventional truth has deviated from the ultimate truth. If both truths are lost, then liberation is impossible. Furthermore, if the Sarvastivadins' assertion of the substantial existence of the three times, and the substantial existence of conditioned phenomena that do not correspond to the unconditioned, as well as the Sautrantikas' assertion of the knowledge with complete cognition, and its hidden cause, as well as the common assertion of the two schools that indivisible particles are real, and the Vijnanavadins' assertion that the manifest consciousness is real, if these are the true intentions of the scriptures, then because these views are hindered by reason, all speakers cannot become omniscient. If these are not the true intentions of the scriptures, then how can the schools such as Vijnanavada become the true intentions of the Tathagata? If it is said that these are not the meanings of the definitive sutras, but the meanings of the provisional sutras, that is also not established. Because the meaning of the provisional sutras is the conventional truth, and those uncommon views asserted by the schools such as Vijnanavada are not even the conventional truth. Furthermore, the definitive and provisional sutras are only different interpretations based on the different capacities and understandings of the beings to be tamed, and there is no contradiction in the true intention. Because all the Dharma spoken by the Tathagata ultimately returns to Suchness. Therefore, it is wrong to say that the contradictions between the schools are the true intentions of the definitive and provisional sutras.

Ba ni: It is speaking without discrimination. Thus, the intention of all the scriptures of the Tathagata resides in this single path of the Middle Way, free from extremes. These are, for the time being, the connections of the treatises. The subject matter here is the two aspects of profound and vast. Among them, profound is the emptiness of the nature of the two selflessnesses of person and phenomena. Vast is: vast intention, the nature of relative bodhicitta is great compassion; vast application, the nature of ultimate bodhicitta is the ten bhumis of a bodhisattva; vast result, the three bodies of a Buddha, qualities, activities, and so on. In this way, the two aspects of profound and vast are established in this text. There are also two purposes: a temporary purpose and an ultimate purpose. There are also two temporary purposes: the purpose of understanding the subject matter and the purpose of entering the text. The first is to easily understand the two aspects of profound and vast as described above. The second is that here, the treatise of the Nagarjuna's side is established, and those who speak differently from it are refuted by reasoning, so that only the Nagarjuna's system is understood as supreme, and one enters its treatises such as the Madhyamaka with respect, as the commentary says, "Because one wants to compose the 'Entering the Middle Way' in order to enter the Madhyamaka treatise." The ultimate purpose is to rely on these temporary purposes, enter the correct path, understand the unsurpassed profound and vast aspects, and attain the state of omniscience. Explanation of the General Meaning.
