It is not for the sake of peace. Drinking milk squeezed by hand only increases poison. As it is said. Therefore, for a non-noble person who does not like the Dharma of selflessness and is attached to self-grasping, it is best to teach in accordance with self-grasping in order to turn them away from misdeeds, because attachment to self, hoping for benefit and happiness for oneself in the future, and thus turning away from misdeeds, makes it easier to obtain a good rebirth. Teaching selflessness is not supreme, because by abandoning and reversing discrimination, it will destroy these three doors. Therefore, when teaching this selflessness, a non-wise person who wrongly enters selflessness will go to a bad rebirth and not to peace. For ordinary people who are not suitable vessels, teaching close to the supreme Dharma will lead to peace and not to bad rebirths. Fourth, the characteristic of the selflessness to be taught is: What is the selflessness that should not be taught to non-noble people, but should be taught to noble people? Entering the city of Nirvana, this is the only unique door, therefore it is the door of peace without a second. And, seeing it, it destroys all the evil views of things that are real, dependent, permanent, and nihilistic. Abiding in the wisdom realm of the Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, and Perfectly Enlightened Buddhas, or in the wisdom realm of all Buddhas who abide inseparable from the Dharmakaya, that is called selflessness. The selflessness with the characteristics mentioned above should not be taught to people of shallow wisdom, because even the name of the Dharma of selflessness, the word "emptiness," will cause fear to non-noble people who are not suitable vessels for the profound. Thus, seeing selflessness is powerful, because it can uproot all non-noble views from the root. Non-noble views are weak, because they are the object to be uprooted. Whatever has power will surely cause fear to the weak, this is certain. Because where in the world can one see a strong person who does not cause fear to the weak? For example, tigers and lions and other powerful ones,

Just hearing it, others will feel fear. Third, to clarify that the profound is not for the sake of argument, there are two aspects: the direct and the incidental. The first is: If it is said that selflessness destroys all wrong views, therefore, in order to subdue and overwhelm those opponents who are dominated by wrong views, this Dharma should be taught to pure vessels, if it is said so, that is not right. The Tathagatas proclaimed the meaning of selflessness, not to overwhelm other opponents, nor for the sake of argument, but to clarify the pure gate—emptiness. Although it is not taught for the sake of argument, when the Dharma of selflessness arises in the continuum of a faithful person, the wrong conceptions of other evil speakers will disappear, because it is the nature of burning all the bonds of affliction. For example, fire is for the purpose of smelting, etc., not for the purpose of burning firewood, but even so, because fire has the nature of burning, it can both accomplish the desired purpose and burn firewood. The teacher also said: Like dewdrops on the tip of grass, when they meet the sunlight, the arguments and faults of the opponents, when they meet you, will be destroyed. So, how can this Dharma, when it arises in the continuum of a faithful person, burn the words of others? Whoever knows and experiences the nectar taste of the Dharma of self-nature emptiness with the tongue faculty of hearing, thinking, and meditating, then he will find the taste of other views tasteless, so he does not like other views. Because of this, whoever realizes the Dharma of self-nature emptiness can see that all wrong views will not arise again in his continuum. Therefore, it seems to me, the author of the treatise, that it is like a door that destroys all non-Dharma. The teacher, like tasting the nectar taste of the supreme Dharma, spoke words that satisfy wise people. Or, considering the scriptures of the Dharma, it is said that it seems like a gate of destruction. Because the suffering of Nirvana and its cause will be destroyed forever, and the gate that follows Nirvana is...
