Among these four, the first has three parts: the main subject, the benefits derived from it, and refuting arguments against non-omniscient beings. The first is: From where do we obtain the special qualities of the excellent teachings mentioned above, which reveal the suchness of the world and the causes that are free from attachment? It is from the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. What is the nature of the Bhagavat? It is one who is overwhelmed by great compassion and is dedicated to accomplishing the benefit of all beings. Thus, there is no movement of the three doors of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, that is not a cause of benefit to sentient beings. As it is said in the 《Samadhiraja Sutra》: \"Countless hundreds of thousands of kotis of rays of light arise from the soles of the feet of the King of Dharma, cooling all sentient beings in hell, making them experience happiness without suffering.\" And: \"When the Victorious One places his foot on the threshold of the door, whoever is blind, deaf, without protector, and of little merit, all of them will obtain eyes and ears.\" Thus it is said. For the moment, let alone movement, even the breath that arises naturally, without depending on the particularities of the mind's attraction, arises solely for the sake of temporarily and ultimately benefiting sentient beings. Thus, the breath of the Buddhas transforms into a great mass of clouds above the vessels of hell, covering all directions without exception, and from it descends a great stream of extremely cool rain, extinguishing the great masses of fire in hell. As a result, the suffering sentient beings in hell think: By whose power have we become so happy? Then they see the radiant marks and signs of the Buddha's body, and by the cause of generating joy in them, the aggregates of non-virtuous actions become thinner, and they create the root of virtue that is in accordance with liberation, for the sake of constant benefit. Worthy of praise!" }, { "original_tibetan": "བསྔགས་འོས་", "chinese_translation": "应赞叹!", "english_translation": "Worthy of praise!" } ] ============================================================

Furthermore, as stated in the praises: "The breath exhaled by the Buddha overpowers all fragrances. If one perceives it, even those with jealousy will develop great joy towards you. When the Buddha's breath descends, even the negligent gods will abandon their heavenly realms and turn towards discipline." As it is (said in the scriptures). Therefore, those who possess wisdom and desire to certainly escape from samsara should first generate faith in the Lama Buddha Bhagavan, the root of the treasure of well-spoken words, as mentioned above, and draw near to him. Secondly, drawing near to the Buddha enables beings to transcend all suffering, from the fear of death until the end. For example, just as all beings in the world feel fear upon hearing the name of the Lord of Death, those who hear the name "Omniscient One" will become fortunate ones who escape from suffering. Therefore, the name "Omniscient One" also instills fear in the Lord of Death, that is, it overcomes the Lord of Death. As the Bhagavan said: "All who hear my name will escape from suffering through any one of the three vehicles." Thus it is said. If merely hearing the name of the Buddha leads to escape from the Lord of Death, what need is there to mention those who practice the path? Therefore, those who wish for their own benefit should rely on the Buddha. Thirdly, if someone asks, when asked about the fourteen unaddressed questions such as "Is the world eternal?" why does the Bhagavan not answer, is it not because the Buddha is not omniscient? One cannot conclude that the Buddha is not omniscient merely because of this. Because the Buddha possesses the ability to accomplish deeds that benefit both temporarily and ultimately, and not doing so would cause harm, and knows what should be said to bring benefit and what should not be said to cause harm. For those who have not yet become vessels for profound teachings, the Buddha does not answer the fourteen questions because these questions should not be answered, not because the Buddha does not know. Because whether the world is eternal or impermanent should not be answered. Moreover, since the questioners are not vessels for profound teachings, the Buddha will not teach emptiness, which is free from the extremes of permanence and annihilation. Therefore, it is said in the Ratnavali: "Whether the world has an end or is endless,
