Regarding the general meaning, the main point of what is being said, the conduct, is shown from the beginning of the chapter; in the middle of the chapter, the six recollections and the ritual of meditative absorption are shown; at the end of the chapter, the sixteen recollections and the benefits of realizing the recollections are shown. The general meaning of the expressive words is easy to understand. Secondly, the meaning of the branches has two parts: connecting with the words of the compiler and entering the chapter of the Teacher's speech. The first is: after the completion of the sixth chapter, 'Thus spoke the Bhagavan' is connected. What is it? This is the chapter of the collection of tantras that enables the attainment of the great Vajradhara, the fully enlightened one, through the six branches of the great samaya Vajradhara's suchness, and the supreme common practices of mantra conduct. The six branches are the six recollections, or the three solitudes, illusory body, clear light, and union. The common practice is the three conducts or the ritual of meditative absorption. Entering the chapter of the Teacher's speech has three parts: showing the conduct, showing the six recollections, and showing the sixteen recollections. Showing the conduct has two parts: showing the conduct through the door of entering thought, and showing the conduct through the door of meditative thought. The first also has four parts: entering thought with elaboration, without elaboration, extremely without elaboration, and showing the benefits of the conduct. Showing entering thought with elaboration is: since the sequence of yoga has already preceded, in the ritual of offering, there are three. After making the five outer offerings of flowers and so on, at the time of the inner offering and the secret offering, one should act as one wishes with all the enjoyments of desirable things such as forms, that is, the yogi himself should enjoy his senses to his heart's content, thinking thus. Relying on desirable things is with elaboration because of great attachment to desirable things. Old Tibetans often said to rely on desirable things, because of great attachment to desirable things, then enjoying" } ] ============================================================

It is said that the completion stage also turns into a speech with elaboration. This is to show the entering thought of the generation stage. If asked what benefit is there? As just said, with the yoga of enjoying desirable qualities with this kind of entering thought, one can quickly and rapidly attain Buddhahood, that is, the great Vajradhara state, in this very life. Showing the non-elaborate entering thought means that for all desirable enjoyments such as forms, how one desires, one should think of them as being used as a branch for generating samadhi. Relying on desirable qualities is called non-elaborate because attachment to desire is small, this is showing the entering thought of the conventional illusory body. With such an entering thought, the yogi himself and others should also offer the five desirable qualities to the mudras. If asked with what kind of yoga to offer? Offer with the yoga of one's own tutelary deity, that is, offer with having yoga. If asked what benefit is there? With the yoga of tiring and exhausting the body, austerities to accomplish monasteries and so on, and the vows of the twelve qualities practiced under trees and so on, and jumping off mountains and entering fire and so on, relying on unbearable austerities, and tormenting the body will not accomplish enlightenment. As said before, the yoga of the deity, and relying on all desirable enjoyments through having the entering thought, if one can please the great Vajradhara, one can quickly, that is, attain the great seal in this life. Thus, having prohibited the accomplishment of the great seal through tormenting the body, and in order to prevent the practitioner's mind from being tormented as well, showing the extremely non-elaborate entering thought is spoken from the ultimate meaning of the two truths, just like living by begging, do not practice the great seal by begging. Just like going to beg, engaging in lowly occupations such as agriculture and commerce is also not good. This is what is to be shown. Also, do not be happy with begging, meaning do not be attached to food, do not be attached, just as much as can maintain the existence of the body, enjoy to that extent, this is called extremely non-elaborate because attachment to desirable qualities is very small, this is showing the entering thought of union. Abiding in such behavior,
