In the center of the mandala, visualize the face of the root guru, surrounded by the lineage gurus. In front of them are the yidam deities, to the right is the form of the Buddha, behind is the sacred Dharma, and to the left is the noble Sangha. Slightly below, visualize the Dharma protectors vividly dwelling. Visualize that the four great kings of the four directions also act according to their own commands. With oneself as the main focus, for the sake of all kind mother sentient beings as vast as the sky, one must take refuge with one mind. Starting from "I and all sentient beings as infinite as the sky," to "I take refuge in the glorious guru, yidam mandala, perfect Buddha, sacred Dharma, noble Sangha, dakinis, and Dharma protectors." While reciting, do not let your mind wander, recite hundreds, thousands, or millions of times, etc. There are two types of refuge, four rounds and six rounds, this is the six-round refuge. Starting from "Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha," etc., may it be accomplished. May all sentient beings have happiness and the causes of happiness, may all sentient beings be free from suffering and the causes of suffering, may all sentient beings never be separated from the bliss without suffering, may all sentient beings abide in equanimity, dwelling in the immeasurable. Recite three times. After that, gradually gather the objects of refuge and rest slightly in emptiness. These refuges and bodhicitta, for those who fear the suffering of the lower realms and wish to be born as gods and humans, are what I have done for the common inferior beings. Second, the main practice, purifying with Svabhava emptiness. The emptiness of "from emptiness" is like the sky, without any objects such as earth, stones, mountains, or rocks. The so-called lotus and sun seat are like various lotus petals, like flowers being blown into the sky by the wind, on top of the stamen. The sun mandala is like an inverted mandala, not hollow inside, the color is red, burning with hot light, like a burning iron lump taken out of a coal pile by a blacksmith. On top of it, the essence of one's own mind is the long syllable ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह्रीः, Sanskrit Romanization: hrīḥ, Chinese literal meaning: shame), with sharp corners and accents, standing upright like mustard seeds standing on a mirror. From there, light radiates, offering to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, purifying the sins and obscurations of all sentient beings, turning all demons, obstacles, and harmful beings into ashes like burning bird feathers, all the power of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas.
