The discussion of treasures, the treasure teachings, the chapter on discussing treasure revealers. The discussion of treasures, the treasure teachings, the chapter on discussing treasure revealers. Then, Padmasambhava of Oddiyana said: Residing in Vajrasana, scattering consecrated flowers, establishing the Dharma seat and stupa, the teachings are incorporated into the root. He went to the Likar Shingphel Monastery, where he stayed for two hundred years, uniting the Sutra and Tantra teachings. Then, a Vidyadhara of Mahamudra, thinking it was meaningless if he did not accomplish it, went to the border between India and Nepal. He stayed on a mountain like a lion leaping into the sky. When he was practicing in his mind and meditating upwards, seven evil hunters from that area came to hunt with their dogs. He bound the dogs and hunters, making them stiff. The king sent a messenger saying not to drive them away. He went to circumambulate the Shingkun Monastery. The king's consort died from a relapse of her child's illness. After she was taken to the cemetery with her daughter, a monkey saved the daughter. During the day, she stayed at the top of a tree eating fruit, and at night she slept on a rock covered with leaves. A Nepalese woman named Shakya Dewa, whose hands and feet (124a) were yellow and connected like a swan, was brought by a messenger with auspicious signs and quick comfort. He went to the cave of Yangleshö in Nepal, where he hid a hundred thousand kotis of treasures. When they were discussing, four obstacles arose. Hail, lightning, and clouds appeared, threatening their lives. As he wished, he went to the realm of space. There was no rain in the sky, and the sun burned like fire. In the sky, demons appeared to be chanting. Destroying his intention, he went to the realm of space. In the middle land, famine gathered like red clouds. Thoran Jowo appeared with a wooden bird. Destroying his intention, he went to the realm of space. In Nepal, corpses piled up like heaps of manure. During the day, evil spirits made "dundun" sounds, causing human and livestock diseases, bringing inauspiciousness. To avert the four obstacles, he sang this song: The cruel and unbearable harm-doers, those who violate the Buddha's teachings, like this lotus flower, are not stained by the faults of mud, living happily as they wish. The yogi who possesses the supreme method is liberated from bondage. You four sinful ones do not know! He wrote it down and hid it as a treasure. In the degenerate age, beings are difficult to tame. How can the treasure teachings be abandoned? This is merely writing (124b).
