Thus he spoke. Then the prince said to his father: "Although fathers and mothers are rare in this world, you two have given me the kingdom as father and mother. When I was in Gautama, I was the daughter sent by Pratākara. This mother is a reincarnation of the merchant Ari. Due to karmic entanglement, I killed the minister's children. It would be best if I were exiled according to the strict laws of the kingdom. I ask to follow the king's decree." Having said that, the king was not pleased. The ministers discussed the exile of the prince seven times. Some said he should be exiled to the land of Bru-sha (present-day northern Kashmir), some said he should be exiled to the land of Vaideha, some said he should be exiled to the land of Bengal, some said he should be exiled to the heretical Copper Island (Sri Lanka), some said he should be exiled to the island of houses, some said he should be exiled to the land of Li (Khotan), some said he should be exiled to the land of China, some said he should be exiled to Nalanda, some said he should be exiled to the land of Tokharistan, some said he should be exiled to the land of Zahor, some said he should be exiled to the land of Asha, some said he should be exiled to the land of Tazig, some said he should be exiled to the land of Maru-tsi, some said he should be exiled to northern Shambhala. The ministers disagreed on the place of exile. The king said, "Which place would please the prince? Exile him to the place that pleases him." The second Buddha prince (59b) reported thus: "Since there is no attachment to a place, wherever I am exiled is like a palace. Since there is nothing to do but practice the Dharma, it is the same even on the king's throne. A person who practices the three yogas will find happiness. Since the mind has no birth or death, I will not die even if I am killed. Since there is no attachment to a place, I will not fear even if I am exiled. May you, my father and mother, dwell in peace for a long time." Having said that, he prostrated to his parents. The queen embraced the prince's neck and said, "Alas, dear child, pleasing and delightful child, why did you listen to evil advice and be exiled? Why can't I be exiled in your place?" Having said that, she complained to the king himself. King Indrabodhi said, "Take this wish-fulfilling jewel that the ministers have not seen. It will eliminate poverty, hunger, thirst, cold, and suffering. Whatever you pray for will come from it. Use it to help the prince." The prince said to his father, "My own appearance is the wish-fulfilling jewel, what use is your jewel to me?"

He said, 'Make your tongue a wish-fulfilling jewel.' He spat saliva from his tongue into the king's hand, and it immediately became a wish-fulfilling jewel, granting all desires. After that, the king came into the assembly of ministers, and it is said that they exiled the prince to a terrifying and hair-raising place called 'Cool Grove' cemetery.

May there be peace and happiness between the king and his subjects. Do not be too affectionate, we will meet again later. Hearing these words, Light-Possessing thought, "Perhaps this exile is my father's foresight. Otherwise, even if he violated the law, it would be a pity to exile such a virtuous person. I wonder what would happen if I pleaded with the gods and my father?" Queen Light-Possessing went to the king and knelt down, weeping and saying: "Be sure to govern the country with just (61a) laws, do not indulge the people, please discuss it." Is the king's heart mad? He is happy to meet this virtuous person again in the future. The king's only son was finally exiled, and there are no other sons, so what is the use of the law? What am I, a maidservant, doing staying in this palace?" So she said many things. The king said, "You are right, Light-Possessing, you are right. Why don't I listen to you?" The king went to the place where the ministers were gathered, took the son of the throne from the palace, and placed him beside the Tree of Sorrow. He spoke encouraging words to the gathered people: "The body is impermanent, like a tree on a cliff; breath is impermanent, like the mist in the mountains; the mind is impermanent, like lightning in the sky; this life is impermanent, like dew on the tip of a grass." As he said this, the gathered guests, young and old, were all in tears. Then, the Four Great Kings, Vaishravana, Dhritarashtra, Virupaksha, and Virudhaka, came there with their sons, ministers, retinues, messengers, envoys, servants, and other eminent figures, to welcome the Seven Treasures. The prince knelt before the prince, folded his hands, and urged him with poetry: (61b) Emaho! The king's throne is not a common refuge, but an incarnation of successive rebirths. Without Padmasambhava, there is no ultimate teaching. In order to distinguish the differences, all different vehicles, view, conduct, union, liberation, Padmasambhava is the path to Buddhahood. The fruit is the supreme Buddhahood achieved by oneself and others together. Thus urged, the four classes of dakinis came before him, leading songs, dances, steeds, and treasures, and said: "Son of the throne, please ride this steed." The four classes of dakinis lifted the horse's legs and feet, and entered the vast, clear space. The throne
