'Seeing as emptiness.' The first is, 'How wonderful it would be if these sentient beings with a permanent, independent mind could be free from the cause and effect of suffering that is permanent and independent.' The second is, 'How wonderful it would be if these sentient beings moved by karma could be free from the illusory cause and effect of suffering moved by karma.' The third is, to contemplate that sentient beings who are like illusions could be free from the cause and effect of suffering that is like illusions. 'Movement and nature are empty' means that emptiness is no different from illusion. In the *Vajra Heart Commentary* and other texts, the third order is: nature is emptiness, and appearance is explained as compassion, which arises implicitly in practice. Then, cultivate the Bodhicitta of exchanging self and others, giving all of one's own happiness to others, and ripening all of others' suffering upon oneself, and contemplate that these are purified in their own place. Even if any stinging pain arises in the body, think that all the suffering of others is liberated and ripens upon oneself, and may all sentient beings have happiness. The second is to cultivate the deity yoga, with the complete and clear self-generation of whatever deity one practices, with a clear form, and with firm faith and stable pride that the body, speech, and mind of the deity are inseparable from one's own body, speech, and mind. And knowing that the form of the deity, etc., is merely the play of pure wisdom, this is pure mindfulness. Having cultivated the yoga of the illusory body for a long time in this way, strive to recite the mantra as explained in the scriptures. If one becomes weary of this, then dissolve the outer vessels into the inner essence, then into the seat, then into oneself, then into the seed syllable mantra garland, then into the seed syllable, and finally enter into the invisible clear light and abide in equanimity. Then, in the post-meditation state, visualize the appearance as an illusory body, knowing that whatever appears is the body, whatever sounds is the speech, and whatever is remembered is the play of the nature of reality. As it is said in the scriptures: 'Having treated appearances as dreams, appearance itself also becomes without appearance.' In the Guru Yoga, visualize oneself as the deity, and on a splendid throne above one's head, visualize the root guru appearing as Vajradhara, and above that, visualize the lineage gurus stacked on top of each other, contemplating that the essence of the guru is one with the nature of reality, and that the form appears according to the needs of sentient beings, regarding the guru as a wish-fulfilling jewel that fulfills all desires, offering all the beauty of movement and stillness to the guru, and pleasing the guru's secret and nature.

In the place where the fruits of the three bodies (Tibetan: སྐུ་གསུམ་) ripen, in the Dharma palace of Akanishtha (Tibetan: གནས་འོག་མིན་).’ And so on, sending forth the supplication of the lineage intensely from the depths of the heart, from the depths of the bones. If you want to simplify it, then, contemplate the Lama and make offerings, and take refuge, along with all sentient beings as infinite as the sky, in the Lama's Dharmakaya (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཀྱི་སྐུ།). Take refuge in the Lama's Sambhogakaya (Tibetan: ལོངས་སྤྱོད་རྫོགས་པའི་སྐུ།). Take refuge in the Lama's Nirmanakaya (Tibetan: སྤྲུལ་པའི་སྐུ།). Take refuge in the Lama, the precious Buddha.’ You can recite this as many times as you like. When the mind feels depressed, weary, or when the elements are not in harmony, and when the heart is unhappy, or when you feel restless and unable to sit still, visualize the Lama smiling gently in the center of your heart, and yourself also smiling. Visualize whatever you see and hear as the smiling Lama, and offer prayers with a melodious voice, beautiful words, a relaxed mind, and a joyful state. Now, more than ever, offer prayers in this way. If there are many wild and unruly thoughts, in that state, blend the Lama with your mind, rest without artifice, and pray without distraction. The intermediate guidance of virtue: Secondly, regarding the intermediate guidance of virtue, it includes the key points of body, speech, and mind. First is the key point of the body: the legs in the vajra posture, the hands in the meditation mudra, the spine straight like stacked coins, the shoulders spread like the wings of a garuda, the throat slightly pressing the Adam's apple, the eyes focused on the tip of the nose. The necessity of this is that, in sequence, the downward-clearing air, the fire-equalizing air, the pervasive air, the upward-moving air, and the life-sustaining air will definitely enter the central channel, and from this, wisdom arises. This is the view of the precious tantras. Second is the key point of speech: first exhale three times, then inhale and press downwards, holding the breath as long as possible. If you cannot hold it, exhale and return to normal. Then stop speaking. Third is the key point of mind: it includes the method of settling the mind, the method of settling the mind, and the sharpening of the mind. First, Saraha (Sanskrit: Saraha) said: ‘If one enters emptiness without compassion, one cannot attain the supreme path. However, merely cultivating compassion will not lead to liberation in this samsara. Whoever is able to unite these two, will neither abide in samsara nor abide in nirvana.’ Therefore, cultivating the union of wisdom emptiness and skillful means great compassion means that the essence is emptiness, and the manifestation is compassion, and even when it manifests, it is emptiness.
