My children, relatives, friends, and servants, together with the armies and tribes, may you all be pleased and partake of these offerings. These incense, flowers, tormas (offerings), and foods, please accept and each take your share, may this endeavor bear abundant fruit. For the purpose of pacifying obstacles, or to fulfill other desires, those with wisdom should practice this method. Although this torma does not contain all the mantras, even reciting a few verses can satisfy the spirits and others. Through asceticism and truth, one can attain supreme accomplishments. The teachings of the Bhagavan (Blessed One) are like mantras. Words that are not deceptive are considered secret mantras. The mantras recited by non-Buddhists are not reliable because of this reason. Therefore, the words spoken by accomplished ones are indeed mantras. These four actions are considered mudras (hand gestures). Therefore, in this activity of torma, the expression of words is the accomplishment of secret mantras. Therefore, this ritual does not need to add mantras like 'svāhā'. The above is the torma ritual for spirits and protectors. Divide a portion and give it to the obstructors (bgegs): Hūṃ. Those who wander at night, all the bhūtas (spirits) and flesh-eaters, rakshasas (ogres) and raw flesh eaters, various kinds of sentient beings, dwelling in trees, forests, and other places, for them, the torma is: food, meat, wine, radishes, and rice, fruits, and many other things. May you be satisfied by this offering, pacify harmful thoughts, and from today onwards, generate a mind of benefit towards us.' Thus, dedicate the merits. Subsequent Ritual: The subsequent ritual is to supplement the offerings. Purify with Vajra Amrita, purify with Svabhāva (emptiness). From emptiness, from the syllable Oṃ arises a precious vessel, vast and immense, within which the syllable Oṃ dissolves into light, from which arise offerings made of divine substances, as described before, up to Śapta Svāhā, bless them. Most of the offerings are offering banners, the arrangement of offerings radiates light, arrange various offerings, offer to Mahāpratisarā (Great Defender), Oṃ Sarva Tathāgata Uṣṇīṣa Vijaya Saparivāra Arghaṃ Pratīccha Svāhā. Similarly, offer foot-washing water and other items, combining according to the category, or recite the offering mantra alone, whichever is convenient, and finally praise with a praise that is either extensive or concise. Joining the palms, pray to the retinue of the Bhagavati (Blessed Mother), you... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

May all obstacles to offerings and offerings be pacified, and may all favorable conditions such as the increase of life and glory be fulfilled as desired, and may all supreme and common attainments be bestowed. Please forgive any omissions in the hundred-syllable mantra and other shortcomings. Here, the stupa and thangka are consecrated with images and other objects, and longevity prayers and auspicious prayers are performed. By the merit arising from performing this offering ritual to the Bhagavan Mother who bestows all life empowerment, may all beings, self and others, attain the glory of the supreme bliss of immortality! This is the practice of reciting the Bhagavan Namgyalma and performing a thousand offerings. Since the documents of previous scholars are slightly different, this well-known method of performing a thousand offerings has been written in an easy-to-read format.
