To gather for meaningless things, conducting lectures, initiations, transmissions, etc., is like moving an empty vase from here to there. 12-535 The master (Tibetan: ཇོ་བོ, Pinyin: Jo bo, literal meaning: master) kept in mind the scattered teachings of the Kadampa (Tibetan: བཀའ་གདམས, Pinyin: ka gdams, literal meaning: all teachings) school. In short, you travel to various places, benefiting limitless beings through both Dharma and worldly means, such as listening to and teaching scriptures, giving initiations, transmissions, and instructions. Sometimes, ordained monks wear armor and carry weapons, violently destroying the bodies, lives, wealth, retinues, and residences of enemies. I see these two contradictory actions, like fire and ice, gathered together as a huge mistake. Please provide an answer without contradictions or faults, so that all beings who share the same karma as me can understand. Regarding your statement that 'the extent of teaching the Dharma is a characteristic of one's own enlightenment as a Buddha, seen by the protector himself,' I cannot agree. Those on the path of accumulation (Tibetan: ཚོགས་ལམ, Pinyin: tshogs lam, literal meaning: path of accumulation) understand through the wisdom of hearing and contemplation. Similarly, we also explain the meaning of the teachings from the ground of ordinary beings to the ground of Buddhahood, based on the scriptures. The scriptures say that abandoning evil and practicing virtue is key. In general, leading those who should enter the Mahayana (Tibetan: ཐེག་ཆེན, Pinyin: theg chen, literal meaning: great vehicle) into the Hinayana (Tibetan: ཐེག་དམན, Pinyin: theg dman, literal meaning: inferior vehicle), and forcibly leading those who should enter the Hinayana into the Mahayana, are both considered fundamental downfalls. 12-536 I have no intention of making mistakes in practice. My actions are as described above. Please consider for yourself whether they are sinful or virtuous. Your saying that I waged war seems to imply that I intended to harm others in the Kong region (Tibetan: ཀོང་ཕྱོགས, Pinyin: kong phyogs, literal meaning: Kong region), so I feel it is necessary to say a little. In fact, in Kongpo, even if the Kashag (Tibetan: ཀར་སྲིད, Pinyin: kar srid, literal meaning: government) did something, I did not seize even a small person or a place the size of a cushion. They seem to want to exclude others in the Kongpo region. Especially this year, starting from the great camp (Tibetan: སྒརཆེན, Pinyin: sgar chen, literal meaning: great camp), all the monks in Kongpo acted as if they were stationed in a fortress. From Dakpo (Tibetan: དྭགས་མན, Pinyin: dwags mnan, literal meaning: Dakpo) to Longpo (Tibetan: ལོང་པོ, Pinyin: long po, literal meaning: Longpo), and up to Manpo (Tibetan: མན་སྤོ, Pinyin: man spo, literal meaning: Manpo), the Karmapa's (Tibetan: ཀརྨ་པ, Sanskrit Devanagari: कर्मप, Sanskrit Romanization: Karmapa, literal meaning: Karmapa) teachers, disciples, monks, and so on, all wore armor and carried weapons. They forced patrons to provide supplies and patrolled everywhere, using gunpowder and poison, etc., in ways worse than bad people. Teachers and disciples worked together to destroy us. Those near us only had stones as weapons, and their shields and armor were placed behind iron fences. They could not attack our place of study with stones. Because we did not attack first, we may have only incurred the sin of rejoicing in evil. We paid for five months, which was already a lot. Our monastery... --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

我将 Kongyulwa(地名) 的榜样烧毁,视为一种耻辱。 您拥有法眼,建造寺庙是罪过吗?拆毁寺庙是罪过。如果喜欢拆毁,那就像赞美 Langdarma(藏王名)一样。

I consider it a disgrace to burn the example of Kongyulwa. Since you possess the eye of Dharma, is building a temple a sin? Is destroying it a sin? If you like destroying, it's like praising Langdarma. Therefore, I think this teaching should be offered to the Karmapa master and disciples. Moreover, in King Trichi's dream, he saw a monkey transferring its own impurities to another monkey. This foreshadows that in the future, the Shravaka disciples of Shakyamuni will conceal their own faults and proclaim them to be those of others. Furthermore, if it is thought that those violent actions are harmful to the general cause of Buddhism, and that those wicked sentient beings who cannot be subdued by peaceful means must be punished by violent means, then if one is driven by the three poisons (greed, hatred, and ignorance) to punish, then the actions generated by desire, hatred, and ignorance are unwholesome and definitely not good. If one is driven by loving-kindness and compassion, it is best to have the other party abandon their evil intentions and guide them onto the path of higher rebirth and definite goodness. If this cannot be done, then one should have the other party abandon their harmful intentions and subdue them through confession, obedience, and following orders. However, if the conquest of external enemies only makes them stronger, it seems that it is not the violent action of a Bodhisattva. (Buddha)said: 'Always have love for the miserable.' If you do not liberate those who should be liberated, it is a root downfall. Everyone says that I have been subjected to witchcraft. I vow not to do so, especially to those who uphold the Buddha's teachings. Those who disagree with me, even if they eat a piece of earwax as thick as a stone, say it is witchcraft. Now, especially because merely showing the appearance of a monk does not seem to be upholding the teachings, even if one uses fierce mantras, does it not violate the vows? Those bad people have also confessed before, and now they regret it because they have become enemies, and they also think that they may cause harm. It is difficult to fulfill one's wishes. It is said that the lineage of seven generations of sorcerers must be completely eradicated. If a practitioner encounters an enemy, they should recite the scriptures of the Dharma protectors and guardian deities. In short, your actions are the practice of the Great Vehicle (Mahayana), and your biography is inconceivable, so please forgive my presumptuous evaluation. I am a narrow-minded person who believes in the Small Vehicle (Hinayana). If one dies because of a war between monks, if things like war are all for one purpose, then if the saying 'all actions are like possessing everything' is true, then that would be great. Furthermore, the faults of arguing are great, and the benefits of not arguing are great. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
